Super pricey but alot of fun. Perfect for special occasions. Our server was fantastic and all of our food was super fresh and tasty. Only issue was that the booth was pretty small as well as the table that you're cooking on so it got very cramped. Cheese and chocolate courses were our 2 favorites, I would highly recommend cooking meat on flat top grill.

Food was good but portions have progressively gotten smaller over the last 25 years. This location is smaller and has a much more casual clientele than other locations of this chain we have experienced. Our service was incredibly slow. It took us 2.5 hours to get through our meal.

Our server Reba (spelling?) was very friendly and professional.Dietary restrictions: I have seafood allergies, which they were able to accommodate.

Service was awful waiting for a host for too long after making reservation, we didn’t have a great waiter he did not check us in once only asked for what we’d like and give us the different pots we order! food was okay if u don’t like a lot of garlic i recommend to tell the waiter to hold off on it and the alcohol that’s also in the cheese fondue. each dish/ fondue dish was around $25-35 each. just to let y’all know.

The restaurant seems to have gone downhill since the last time we were there four years ago. We were looking for a nice adult evening out with good food and some ambience that would allow conversation. Not happening there anymore. Won't go back anytime soon.

The Melting Pot is incredibly expensive and it took us over 2.5 hours to dine. The ambience of the Schaumburg location felt sterile and like it was trying to be urban-but it is not. The cuts of meat were not necessarily worth the price. The cheese and the chocolate were good but would not recommend for a full meal.

Our reservation was at 7pm and we left at 10pm due to slow service. First we sat at the bar to get drinks while we waited and the young girl behind the bar was completely overwhelmed with orders from the restaurant. We weren’t acknowledged for 15 minutes until we spoke up and asked if we could get drinks. It was painful to watch her, she was disheveled, stressed and about to cry. Other couples also didn’t have drinks for over 15-20 minutes. We finally get our drinks and when we were done with them we were given a bill and never asked if we wanted another one. So we paid and waited and waited. Finally our table was ready at around 8pm. Our waiter was an Indian young man who told us he was the real bartender but was put to wait tables. Our food took forever to arrive…for each course we had to wait 15-20 minutes. Was awful and ruined the birthday we were celebrating. Management is to blame.

Not clean. Very dirty tables and napkins. Had a reservation for 815 and this was delayed until 840.
