98% of the time we get our Birthday cakes or cookie cakes from the store located at Green Mount Crossing. We are almost never disappointed about the taste and quality of the purchase. We love the meat and produce too. We just don't shop here often due to the higher prices compared to Schnuck or Walmart. However, I bought my oldest son a full sheet cake sized cookie to celebrate his birthday. I ordered the "Go Tiger" design since he is a student at Mizzou and he could share the cookie with his fraternity friends. Well the image of the tiger paw do not turn out like a paw or anything close to the online image. So we had a good laugh about it and I'm sure the frat guys will too.

Dierbergs is the supermarket known for their local offerings, fresh produce, and inviting lighting. Typically when you are looking for something very specific, you visit Dierbergs. I would compare Dierbergs to Wegmans (if you're on the East Coast). There is something about the staff and lights that make you want to fill a cart immediately. The store is laid out in the fashion where you can get the seasonal items as soon as you walk in (think Christmas cookies or Halloween candy), followed by wine and cheese. They offer a hot food bar for those moments on lunch or just a quick save from cooking. There are not many brands (if any) that will not be available within the aisles. I have never had an instance of not being able to find something I needed/wanted. Checking out is a breeze and pretty standard when thinking of grocery stores. This location also offers a UPS for mailing or mailbox needs.

Everyone knows I love Dierbergs! I trust them to have quality produce and meat. Every Dierbergs is basically the same...that's a good thing! It means every store is clean, friendly and has a great selection of anything you might want to cook, eat and or enjoy! Plus their pharmacies are always excellent and the little shop with all the pretty flowers and gifts is my favorite! All the employees are always friendly and helpful too. You can't go wrong shopping at a Dierbergs!

I have shopped here for 2 years. The prices are very high compared to other stores, but I still choose to shop here. The reason for a low rating is the cashiers. For being a store that raises their prices, I would expect better customer service. Other than the older woman who works the early shift, who gives out stickers to little kids (so sweet), the other employees have been very rude. It seem to shift during the pandemic, but I always leave there feeling so disappointed in the low quality costumer service.

Will never return to this store. I understand Dierbergs had a recent shoplifting incident but this was unacceptable. I went to the store 20 minutes before closing with my Wife and Daughter and felt threatened to have every employee follow us around and stare at us but not say anything. I felt very disrespected when the self checkout lady saw us coming and closed the entire self checkout. I felt very threatened to go outside and see they had 2 cop cars waiting outside incase we stole. We will not be returning ever again, I hope whoever was the manager and employees july 26th at night can change their customer service issues because to go through all that was extremely uncomfortable.

We have been shopping Dierbergs for years. We enjoy going there and the large variety to choose from that other stores do not offer. Unfortunately, our time there has become less and less due to the inconvenience it has caused us. There is less and less employees working there every time we would visit. We tend to visit the same cashiers line as often as we can because she is fast and efficient. She rarely has a bagger to help assist her. If something goes wrong the amount of time it takes a manager to respond is unacceptable. They have completely changed the stations for these cashiers which has made it less effective and more time consuming. They clearly did not ask a cashier or a customer for their input. The lack of management in this facility does not go unnoticed. These employees are working in hot conditions that are not suitable for their needs. We will continue to shop there less and less due to thiee circumstances and encourages these employees to seek new employment where they can be heard and appreciated.

My mom and wife were treated terribly by staff in area of self check out. Terrible customer service, very disrespectful. Too many other places to shop and not have to tolerate that.

I started shopping here bc the Target next door was constantly out of all my usual foods due to their remodel and boy am I glad I did! They have tons of different kombucha, delicious fresh vegetables, tons of vegetarian and vegan options and even a florist and UPS in the store. Super friendly staff and even when the parking lot looks full it's hardly ever busy inside. Plenty of self check out lanes. One of the best parts about this place is if you speak to someone about stocking an item they don't currently stock they will do their best to bring it in next truck load. Love this place.

I was refused life-saving blood pressure medication today because their "system" was down. I was told to, "Go somewhere else." Appalling. Do not do business with this piece of junk store.
I had an issue and it was promptly correct by Bernadette. Thank you so much. It's not always that higher ups take notice of an issue but in this case they did. It's refreshing to shop at an establishment that cares.

I love this Dierbergs. The location is extremely convenient, the store is always bright and clean, the workers are friendly, they always have plenty of registers open and the selection is great. I especially love their store-brand organic range, which is high-quality and very reasonably priced. The only reason this gets four stars instead of five is that regularly-priced items can be a bit pricey, but the sales are always great.

We built a house near The Shiloh IL Dierberg's nearly 20yrs ago. While we value having a store close, this Dierberg's Location USED to be the only store we shopped at. They constant run out of items/discontinuing items we purchased repeatedly. We were stunned to find some poor quality meats (Spoiled Chicken anyone?) The most important aspect of our decision to switch is the lack of customer service at this store! (The main manager "Chris" who has his pic posted on screens throughout the store is about as friendly as a Komodo Dragon!) He needs a lesson in customer service not to mention public relations. How this individual was ever chosen to represent the Dierberg's Corp Is beyond me.We will drive past this Dierberg's location to Schnucks in Ofallon or Even better Fresh Thyme in Fairview Heights IL (Who's meat and customer service is far superior) In the attached photo you will see their "Customer Loyalty" Coupon Screen at Checkout. We both used it for years after spending thousands of dollars at this location. After NEVER receiving a discount both of us on separate occasions asked checkout personnel IF they ever saw anyone receive a discount. On both occasions they said "No" Unlike Other local grocers who I can attest actually give you discounts/cash back This appears to be a Scam and I will be surprised if no one before me has pointed it out. Dierberg's are you listening?

Dierbergs were the first grocer around my area to step it up with social distancing. Also plexiglass, Also wipes at the door, Also managers in store where you can find them, Also Senior Shopping at 8-9 am, unlike the other grocery where you have to get up with the chickens and when it’s still dark out. Shout out to Dierbergs!!! 10 Stars.

We are visiting the area and were advised that this store would offer the best selection, typically things you can't get elsewhere, thought at a premium. I guess pricing is high back home, as we didn't find the price points to be outlandish, rather on par for the products offered. The selection was large and varied.
