Food came out quickly was nice and hot. I had a Fiesta combo very delicious, hubby had steak carne asada he was pleased with comes out to the table hot and sizzling. He got a side of flour tortillas that come with it and were homemade tasting. Our son ordered Mayan combo liked it a lot. I've been eating at Pepe's for almost 50 years in various locations. Tinley Park IL my favorite locale. Mucho Gusto!

We felt stuck because we ordered the food and sat there and waited for an hour before our appetite came. I had steak taco dinner, the steak was so over cook, tasted like beef jerky.We will not come back for sure. I only gave 1 star because I got my food, and that's the lowest I can give.

Uber eats gave me option to rate but not include feedback. Salsa was bland, no seasoning, tasted like tomatoes, no cilantro no salt, no pepper. at least it was ediblle once i added my own spices. does not come with chips yet there isn't an option to order chips on the ubereats menu. ordered burrito frito, menu claims it has sauted veggies inside and is covered with ranchero sauce and cheddar cheese. it was nothing but steak wraped in a tortilla and fried (I did find 2 slices of green peppers and 1slice of onion after i opened it up but no cheese, no sauce). it was dry and flavorless, no seasoning whatsoever. i used to love pepe's, not sure what happened but it was definitely not worth the price this visit

One of the worse Mexican restaurants of all time call it what they call it but it ain't Mexican. They put American cheese singles on the enchiladas with no meat. Everything is soggy not sure why this place exists. Don't go worse food in the Plainfield joliet area. I've eaten at other pepes nothing compares to the disgusting food they are serving people. Those "good reviews" are the employees trying to make good reviews to make it seem edible. You've been warned.

Called in my order was told over the phone 2)10 taco specials my total was giving to to over the phone for $58 and some change got there 15 minutes later was told the total was $60.12 I asked was it a card charge because that's more then what I was told over the phone he said never telling me how much the charge was, by this time me and my family is hungry so I said whatever paid and left get get home 45 minutes later to find out my entire order is wrong I ordered 20 tacos 3 without cheese 5 without tomatoes and 12 with cheese,lettuce & tomatoes, but what I received was 12 no cheese and 2 with no tomatoes and 6 tacos cheese and lettuce when I called Pepes in Shorewood illinois about the order being wrong I was told to drive 45 minutes back to the store or contact corporate office they can deal with it. Why should I have to drive all the way for your store messing up my order that I paid for he hung on me when I called back he said I told you what u can do Hung up again I would never in my life eat or recommend this pepes to eat in or takeout yall can have the $60.12 I paid yall for terrible food horrible customer service dam shame
