The staff is so kind and welcoming. The cafe itself has such a relaxing vibe and people clearly love it. Great place to meet with friends, do work and get a good drink. Try their mocktails if you get the chance!
Just stopped by here with my wife as we are visiting family in linconwood. The coffee was superb. The barista was also very nice and gave us good recommendations. The vibe in the cafe is also awesome if you need to study or do work. It’s also rare to find places now where you can get two drinks for under 10 dollars.Definitely recommend.

Really good lattes, had both a coffee based latte and a Chai tea latte. Beautiful cups for in house, and they write positive affirmations and compliments on the napkins! Music is calming, not too loud, great place to get work done and hang out.

I haven't had any of their food. Personally I think it's a bit overpriced. However, I dont come for the food but for the coffee, and overall atmosphere. Their drinks are reasonably priced for the quality and presentation. The staff are very friendly, and the cafe holds up to it's name, Complimentary Cafe. They personalize a compliment on each napkin given with your drink.On one particular day, while meeting with a friend, we both received a relevant message that felt very appropriate and significant at that moment. So of course, we couldn't help but smile, and had some time of reflection while sipping our preferred drinks. I still have those napkins and use them as book marks. ?Thanks for opening this gem in my small suburban town! ❤️

Try everything, you'll love every drink and food. my favorites lately are: Americano, mojito mocktail, irani chai and samosa empanadas. This place is busy and the staff always has time to make the best warm beverage for you. And I love the soft cozy chairs and seating. Please come in visit. My favorite time is Sunday afternoons ( bonus that they are open to 7pm). It is no wonder that Complimentary Cafe won 2023 Skokie business of the year!
