This use to be really good restaurant, but service and food quality is unacceptable after new management took over. I ordered plate of Enchiladas and sauce was too salty, and loaded nachos was not good either. I asked waiter for the sauce and that was never brought to the table. I would avoid this restaurant next time.

Came out to eat ( based on Google search) at 9:40 am and the Restaurant was closed. Google search shows opening times of 9:00 am but on the door of the restaurant it’s 10:00 am. What a waist of time. Restaurant operating hours should be up to date !!

Stopped by for lunch today with my wife. Food was good and fresh the restaurant was a little chilly so if u get cold easily bring a sweater. My wife got a mango margarita which she loved especially the tamarind straw. She had the bistec and I had a dish I can't remember the name of lol. It was basically like fajitas in a hot pot. The food was really good my wife wasn't a fan of the chips she said they didn't really have much flavor. She liked her bistec tho so overall very good experience, I'll probably be back again.

Food was pretty good But the only bad thing was they were short staffed so just my drinks took about 10 minutes the food took about 15 to 20 minutes they did forget our appetizer from one to 5 it’s a 3.

My husband and I found the meal quite flavorful and our waitress was very pleasant. We will recommend this place. Food was quite reasonable and were of generous serving.
Let's start with their amazing margaritas that are served in fun clay mugs! Next, their chicken fajitas are fantastic! This Mexican, family-run business knows how to cook authentic Mexican food! I highly recommend El Tipico because it tastes and feels so good!

Service & food under new ownership isn't half as good as the original El Nuevo. We were SO EXCITED El Nuevo was back! Food was OK and not bad, but not the food that's called us to patron the original El Nuevo for 20 years prior. Remember the amazing salsa? Yep, the new one is fresh and it's good, but it isn't the kind that takes you away to Mexico. The beans were gummy, the sangria "wasn't ready" because it's Tuesday, the waiter forgot our guacamole, didn't know what wines they have, they put flour tortillas on my tacos instead of corn ordered, forgot to bring us silverware, and then there was no toilet paper in one stall and the door is out of alignment & doesn't close on the other door and then there was also a dirty toilet seat. Then despite there only being one other table occupied, they left us with all of the dishes piled up while I sit and write this review and had to ask for a second bag for the food we are taking home as if it should be assumed that everybody's going to the same destination after. I once loved this small business, and it broke my heart to write this so I probably gave a star too many. Sorry guys but I make better Mexican food at home.
