I particularly enjoy the green tea flavor milk tea or the Thai tea flavor milk tea, both with tapiocas. Friendly staff and we love the drawings of dinosaurs all over the interior. Their extensive menu offers a variety of bubble tea flavors, but my excitement was dampened by an overly sweet boba drink despite selecting the lowest sweetness level. While I may give TeaRex another chance, those seeking a less sweet option might want to proceed with caution.

TeaRex is a calm place away from busy streets. It's decorated with colorful stuff kids will enjoy. The boba is yummy, and the drinks are tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful. If you like tea, you should check it out!

Clean little shop with cute decor and a nice ambience. The fruit tea is excellent. Better than most other bubble tea shops in the Evanston area. The milk tea leaves much to be desired. The taro tasted as if it were diluted with water, even at 100% sweetness. The banana was slightly better but still tasted dilute.I can only recommend the fruit series. Stay away from the milk tea.

Adorable boba café located a few seconds west of Old Orchard Mall boasts an extensive array of familiar flavors for bubble tea lovers.Fruit tea, milk tea, smoothies, coffee and boba options; TeaRex has it! Been wanting to try this place for a few months now but the last couple of visits to the mall, ended up having to buy my kids bubble tea at the mall instead.But finally this past mid September, told my wife we're hittin' this place first before going to the mall. Great bubble tea at still fair prices and my older son loved the decor inside & out.I could definitely stop in for more boba greatness the next time in the area. I wish a prosperous & successful future for the owner(s).
