Received amazing level of service while dropping in to get the complimentary monogramming on my backpack that I received as a gift and had not done the monogramming yet. Very friendly staff did an artful job insuring my initials were on there perfectly. Thank you for being such a help! Would definitely recommend!!

My son bought me a gift here that I came to return. Had the gift receipt and the original. They won't refund his $$ without the card he purchased it on. Trip #2. I brought the receipts PLUS the card he used to purchase the gift with. Clerk refused to return unless my son brings it back. Very difficult to deal with. Super frustrating.

My experience at the Tumi store at Old Orchard Mall left much to be desired. A few years back, I had returned a Christmas gift without a receipt (I didn't have the heart to tell the gift giver it wasn't my taste). The then-store manager said they couldn't give me cash (okay) or a gift card with store credit (huh?). Instead they could only keep a record of the credit with this particular store and I'd have to come back and buy something there. While "unconventional," I agreed, happy to at least receive some form of store credit. Fast forward to today. I went to the store and the current manager, while nice enough, said that the store should have provided a gift card with store credit when I made the return. She said they don't keep store-specific credits in their computer. Lo and behold, neither the store nor Tumi corporate had any record of my return or store credit, leaving me SOL. Despite my interest in purchasing a bag, no effort was even made to offer a discount in order to keep my business (I am a long-time Tumi bag owner). Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Tumi stores -- especially the Old Orchard location -- anytime soon.

Asha is amazing!! I went there to help my wife complete her luggage set, despite not personally being a Tumi fan myself. With that said, the service was impeccable. Asha was both professional and personable. We enjoyed our visit to this location AND completed the set.
I had a terrible experience at this store this week. I was completely ignored when I walked in to shop. The 3 employees just continued chatting like I wasn't even there. It was obvious by what they were saying that they were gossiping about another employee who wasn't there. I was shocked to hear the language they were using and the racial slurs as well. The older lady with the long black hair seemed to be the ringleader of the conversation and the others were just going along with it. When I asked some questions about the products, including where they were made, I was treated like an interruption to their conversation. They didn't want to tell me the products were made in China. $600 for a product made in China? No thanks. Shopping in a store with rude, unprofessional staff? No thanks. Supporting a company that would employ people like this? I'll take a pass. Tumi is over priced garbage that falls apart soon after the purchase, which was evident by the number of newer looking bags I saw coming In for repairs with less than happy looking customers. Tumi=Trashy.

The specific store at Old Orchard was great. I am, however, disappointed in the customer service at the corporate level. I purchased a Tumi case for my laptop less than a year ago. The zipper broke so I brought it to the store to get it fixed. I assumed that Tumi, as a high end brand, would stand behind their product. They do not cover broken zippers and instead offered to send me a new bag with a trade in allowance on the one I purchased. Very disappointing.

I just love this store the staff at this location are so polite and professional. I had an issue with my 4 wheel garment luggage where the wheels were acting up and due the other reason they were unable to repair it in a timing matter they replace my newly purchased luggage with a new one. That’s customer service for you this is why I love Tumi products they stand by service and thank you for not leaving me without a bag ?.Alix T Chicago

This little shop is well organized and super clean. The ladies were helpful they offered a free measuring tape and a raffle to enter to win a throw blanket along with a coffee mug. The prices are reasonable. The bags that they feature are very colorful you can wear them for all seasons. Nice store with cool bags for sale.
