Excellent apps (shrimp cocktail, crab stuffed mushrooms, spinach artichoke dip, ravioli), steaks were cooked to perfection, sea bass was tasty, vegetarian broccoli steak was good, too. Sides were great (garlic mashed, au gratin, broccoli).

We visited this Ruth's Chris for a birthday meal for my wife. From a great very comfortably quiet booth table in the far corner, to our knowledgeable server, Kara, to a great filet/shrimp dinner, we totally enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.

The filet with lobster was excellent! The happy hour burgers were also. Hannah is an excellent server and always takes great care of us in the bar area. We all had a great evening!

We went for dinner tonight as a memorial for my aunt. Ruth's Chris was her very definition of celebration. Dinner was perfect, Kara (our waitress) was perfect, everything was exactly as my aunt would have wanted it.Vegetarian options: The veggie pasta was delicious.
Kara was a wonderful waitress! Very pleasant. Food was delicious. Definitely will come back again!

It was cool. I didn’t see all the hype honestly, my steak was way over salted and I felt like I paid too much for a steak that was so salty that it felt like just eating a spoonful of salt. My appetizer was great though, the shrimp cocktail. Lobster bisque soup was also good. They have a nice drink menu too. Although I didn’t fully enjoy the main course this time, I’d like to come back at some point and try again, possibly adjust my review and possibly add a star, I am hoping this last time was the chef being off his game.

The steaks and sides were absolutely delicious. They serve the steak a little different than other steakhouses with a sizzling plate with a bit of butter and it just takes the steak up a level. They have a great wine and cocktail selection as well. Their service is wonderful. Attentive but not pushy, friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not love was their desserts. They were good but not great like their steaks. We will be back!

Food was great, waiting 20 minutes with a reservation on your anniversary was not. Many people were waiting even though they had reservations. It would not have been as bad if it wasn't for an occasion. After being seated, it took another 15 minutes for a server to take our drink/appetizer order. Not the server's fault, he was great.

The food and ambiance was delightful. I do wish service had been a bit more attentive as we sat with empty drinks for a bit but I'm sure they were busy with the tables next to us. Will definitely go again!
My lamb chops were fatty and tough to chew. My husband's and the other couple's were fine so I guess I got the luck of the draw. I enjoyed the scallop and yuca appetizer. Servers were nice but the food came out cool by the time it reached our table in the back so they needed more servers.

Excellent service, fabulous food, my wife and I have never had a bad experience at any Ruth's Chris.
The server was mediocre and did not visit the table often. In fact, we waited 15 minutes (after eating for about 40 minutes) before the server walked by our table to stop him and let him know we were ready to box our food. He then said he will let someone know to come by the table and box everything, and he quickly walked away without asking if we were interested in dessert (plus we were there for a bday party and he never asked if they would like to choose a dessert). We then waited another 10 minutes for the server to return, where we then asked for a dessert menu. The ribeye was not flavorful and was a bit tough. The other meals were great! I love dining at Ruth Chris for the porterhouse and sides, so I will return.

My fiance and I usually hit a steak house every other weekend. I was at this location years ago and will never forget the sizzling steak being placed in front of me. We stayed in Barrington that night and decided to book a reservation - best decision I made in a while. Every single morsel of food was cooked to perfection. Some steak houses do not know the difference between medium and medium well, unfortunately. "We'll be back!"

We have been to Ruth's Chris several times enjoyed it yesterday. We went back for a birthday party and first off the salad came out like it just came out of the freezer and they thought it it was all yellow and wet and mushy. Then we wanted to order the tomahawk steak, which by the way this was still early 6:30 PM. They came back to us and said they were out of it overall it was a very bad experience.  also, it was very disappointing. We spent a lot of money for a really bad dinner.
