Ok. Normally I don't review a place if I'm going to rag on it. I've driven by this bar for the last 16 years. Never went in. Just liked the intrigue of a castle shaped bar. Finally had the opportunity and boy, it was disappointing. Such a mishmash of styles and architecture. Peeling paint, a sense of disrepair on everything, floor tiles coming up. I don't think there's a TV in there from the 21st century. Bartender was grumpy. The only "newer" stuff I saw were the slot machines. This could be such a cool, fun bar if any amount of attention was paid to fixing it up. As it stands tho, it looks like they are just going to run it till the wheels fall off and the building burns down, which I'd bet is sooner rather than later.

We were in town for a wedding. Searched dive bar Macktown popped up.We went and loved it!!!Great service,customers were friendly and welcoming...If we are ever in the area again, we will stop in!!

It depends on the kind of bars you like. This one's one of my faves. Little bit of a hole in the wall, which is my favorite kind. Great food prices best, appetizers.
Cheapest bar food in town and also the best tasting/ quality. The service is good, especially if you deal with Jenny. She really is the rock to this place. She holds it all together, and is a really good cook and bartender.

Big screens for watching the games, pool table & darts, with a jukebox with a wide variety of music to choose from that has all the latest music. Check it soon and enjoy like I did.
