This place is truly the heart and soul of South Beloit. I come here all the time and see so many others that continue to come through these doors. We all come for one reason and that’s for a family environment. I enjoy the owners, staff, and some good classic breakfast being made. Nora’s Place thank you for giving me a place I can look forward to. People who have anything else to say about Nora’s is just having a bad day.

Good Swedish pancakes are hard to find, I was very happy with those. Mexican skillet was really good too, except onions were huge, we just pulled out the big chunks. I will say, our waitress took our order, brought us food, never brought us napkins we asked for when we ordered. We needed napkins, extra set of silverware as we had our 2 year old with us. If it wasn’t for the other employees bringing us refills and the booster we needed, we would never had gotten it since she never came back, except for dropping off the bill reaching over behind my husband, as she asked the people behind us if they needed anything. Didn’t even say have a nice day.

Basic diner, not fancy but good food and service. Have only had breakfast, but it's always delicious. When you ask for poached eggs, you actually get poached eggs! (as compared to many other places that bring you what amounts to a misshapen hardboiled egg). They keep the coffee coming.

We tried Nora's this week for our first time. The food was delicious. The service was poor..like we weren't even greeted, no smiles, no hello, no good bye...but they were plenty friendly to the regulars. Also we thought it was expensive $45 for breakfast for 2..wow!
