The food is standard McDonalds fare. The service when I walked in was non existent and ordered via the kiosks. Finding a table to eat at was a challenge, not because they were busy but because the tables were filthy.

I've been to many McDonald's locations, and this one was definitely on the lower end of the spectrum.First and foremost, the service was lacking. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the ordering process less pleasant. I had to repeat my order multiple times, and even then, they got it wrong.Cleanliness was another issue. The dining area was not as clean as it should have been. Tables were sticky, and the floors had visible dirt and debris. It detracted from the overall experience.Now, let's talk about the food. It was mediocre at best. My burger was cold, and the fries were lukewarm. It was evident that the food had been sitting for a while. The lack of freshness was disappointing.On a positive note, the drive-thru service seemed to run more smoothly, and the restroom was clean, which was a small relief.In summary, my experience at this McDonald's in Elgin was subpar. I hope they can improve their service, cleanliness, and food quality to meet the standards I expect from McDonald's. Until then, I might consider other options for my fast-food cravings in the area.

We love coming to this McDonald’s before swim. The kids (5 & 7) love the interactive light up table. Tonight, a server made an extra /oops slushy and came to offer it to the kids ?. It was so sweet!! They were both saying “ five stars!!”
