The absolute worst service and food ever, we are in the restaurant now. Appetizer was greasy, soup salty, steak over cooked and dry. The waitress took the soup off and requested a new steak. While at the right temp it was ICE Cold!! To add insult to injury she walked by our table 12 times (yes I counted) and served/ checked on all the other patrons in our section. Maybe our shade of brown blended in with the furniture… we’ve been here several time and never experienced service like this. Wonder how long before she comes to take payment. I’ll just pay on the app. Disappointed UPDATE The manager was open to listening and tried to make amends.

I ordered a blooming onion as a carryout item and I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes but when I arrived at the appropriate time, the drive-up attendant was on the phone taking orders and ignored me (as well as four other customers). Although my order was sitting on a table in front of me, I had not paid for it yet so I had to wait for someone, anyone to ring it up!!! I finally got my onion 25 minutes after it was placed on the carryout table. At home, five minutes later, it was cold and soggy from being covered up with the plastic lid for so long. I will never go back to Outback Steakhouse.Donna N

This Outback is bad. The kitchen and the server Julian need to be retrained. First we had to ask for utensils when we were seated. The only time we received something to drink is when we were seated. No refill on water or soda the entire time we were there. Now the app was the dip and it was greesy and had no steak in it. The chili was watered down and the French onion soup tasted like a salt mine fell in it. So the steak came out well done but was supposed to be medium. We sent it back and she brought out a steak that was cold. The ribs had no sauce cooked on it. The took the ribs out the microwave and put some open pit on it and slapped it on the plate.order loaded mash and it was missing bacon. WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL AT BY THE WAITRESS. Now the waitress walked pass our table 12 time and did not check in. Oh but she was attentive to other tables . There is a bright light to the nightmare. We complained to the Manager Joe and he took a percentage of the bill off and offered a free dessert which we declined the dessert. We know the kitchen would have messed that up.

No one was at the door to great us. We waited for over 5 minutes before someone finally showed us to our table. The server took over 10 minutes come to the table. It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks. 15 minutes later he came back and asked if we were ready to order. My wife ordered sirloin steak and the waiter then tells us they are out of all sirloins. I told him to forget it and bring us our bill for the drinks. Manager shows up and says he is sorry. They are short staffed. What does that have to do with not having food and waiting over 30 minutes to tell people they have no steaks? The short staff card is getting old. I will not be back.

Have visited this place for the first time. I will be honest, this place really amazed and impressed me. They even exceeded my expectations. Outback Steakhouse is a very popular and affordable steakhouse here in this area. Their menu is big and they have plenty of offers. I ordered their Ribeye steak, salad, brisket, and a glass of drink. The food was amazing, exceptional, and very delicious. I am satisfied, and they gave me an awesome experience here. All of their staff was nice and friendly. They greeted me the time I entered the place and also help me to find a vacant spot. All of them were helpful and they serve the orders on time. Very decent and professional staff. They all know how to do their job properly. Great customer service. The whole place is bright, clean, and fancy. The decorations are interesting. The interior has a great vibe and it is soothing. Definitely one of the best and cheap steakhouses I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend this place to all the people I know. All of their food here was great. Affordable and fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff. No complaints! Great job guys! Please keep up the good work! See you soon! Thank you!

Massive disappointment. The website lets you order food for delivery and pay. So that's what I did. And I scheduled delivery for 7:45pm. I got a confirmation email stating they got my order and my food would arrive around 7:45pm. Well when 8pm rolled around and no food had arrived I called. First the guy that answered the phone said thanks for calling Chilis. Then once he realized this is Outback he was totally unable to help me track down my food. He put a manager on the phone who told me you cant order through their website. I said well actually you can. And I did. And I got your confirmation email. He told me essentially... you can't if you actually want to GET your food. Supposedly he refunded me. But here it is 8:20pm and I have nothing to eat. Awesome.

Carry-out Ribeye meal. The steak did NOT appear at all to be a Ribeye. It was riddled with gristle and fat. It was drowned in pepper (I believe to hide to poor flavor) I struggled to cut 1/4 of it, but the gristle was too much for my best steak knife. Outback - NEVER AGAIN!

Very disappointing experience at Outback in South Elgin - the waiter was awesome but the food was mediocre at best plus management gave me the run around on using gift cards and bonus cards - it does say only one can be used per table but when I bought $500 in gift cards to give to clients for Christmas the manager at that time said I can use more than one at a time and the last three years I was able to use as many as I had - turns out you can't. I asked to split the checks and put us at diff tables they said nope. Every other restaurant I bought gift cards at for Christmas that had bonus cards let's you use more than one - bait and switch and not even nice about it - just like too bad so sad...

Risk of food poisoning! Don’t eat here!On Dec 31st at 7:33pm I picked up my to go food, drove back home to find both of my “well done/ No pink” steaks looked like salmon on the inside, forgot my appetizer and bread was poor. For someone who doesn’t eat anything but we’ll done I could of gotten extremely sick. To call back and complain was another task, 27 calls 20 minutes of just ringing with no one to answer. Finally got someone explained and went back, they tried to CHARGE me $70 again!!!! No no no, YOU messed up, not my credit card. Went back home and find out they forgot my sides and this time the food was almost burnt no pink but guess what….. the steak had a old taste to it!!!! I will update this if I end up with bowl issues, I HIGHLY suggest eating elsewhere where they DON’T cut corners just to get food out. I understand being busy but throwing food out just to catch up is how people get sick very quickly. What a horrible way to end 2022, I will be cooking my own steaks at home starting the new year! Score: 0/10 I would avoid at all costs

Non waiter person brought one glass of water for a table of 5 and walked away. Never brought more waters. Then the same person gave our blooming onion to the table next to us. That family of 8 dug in ate it without even say hey we just sat down it’s not ours. The waitress was over worked so couldn’t check in on her tables to know ww never got our onion. The food took forever but we didn’t want the onion on the house and not eat our steak we were starving by then and wanted to enjoy the dinner at that point. The app was to pick at. Bread was also slow due to high demand of waitress.Good thing i got my dad that HUGE steak he devoured it. Was very delicious. The onion just ruined there first experience. But really what kind of people don’t say hey that’s not our food and start eating it.

Really great time. The food was done to perfection. It arrived just the way we ordered it. The drinks were fun and the server wad engaging. She kept us entertained without being obnoxious. Prices were about $2.00 lower then we expected. We will be back soon. Outback!!Parking: Plenty!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, expected.

Ordered takeout, said it would be ready by 8:30, sat in the parking lot til 8:50. Got home and the Togo person forgot one of our sides. Went back to get it, no apology. Food was cold, loaded mashed potatoes were missing bacon. Alice Springs chicken was dried out and hard. The place wasn’t busy, even went inside and saw only one other order on the screen. Oh and they forgot my dipping sauce. As someone in this industry Incan forgive something like this if togo was ten screens back and a full dining room. This was ridiculous

I ordered a 12 oz ribeye steak medium, a side salad and a baked sweet potato for curbside takeout...I got 2 side salads with a medium rare cooked steak. I should have checked the bag, always check the bag....So after heating it up my $30 meal in my microwave I sat down and proceeded to eat my 12 oz ribeye that was more like 8oz from all the chewy fat on it. Save your money and go to Jewel behind outback and get your own steaks and grill them. I will from now on.

Deshone is the best server hands down. We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday. He went above and beyond. I couldn't ask for a better server. He was so good that I applied to work there the very next day! I am happily employed with a wonderful crew!

Been a while since we have been to outback. The food was really good.Service was pretty good. I think our server had more area than he could handle though. He was nice and got our order just as we asked. My wife and father in law both have very specific diets. Anywhere we go, they order food without many things or things on the side to work with what they can eat. This requires the server to write down a lot of notes to get it right. One thing we all enjoy at Outback is whatever they put in the salad dressings to make them have a bit of heat. Of course the rest of the food is great, but we drive 40 minutes for that salad dressing... and potato soup.
