Outstanding honestly. The shawarma was very flavorful and was done just really well. Service was slow but the kindness and quality made up for it. Atmosphere was chill as well. Overall one of the better shawarmas I’ve hadDietary restrictions: Halal!?

My wife and I discovered this great restaurant a couple of months back, and have been hooked ever since. The food is fantastic and the service amazing. Not to mention, everything is 100% halal! We had asked them about catering for our celebration this past weekend and they really came through! The food was top notch, as usual, and their prices were very fair. From start to finish Mohammed was kind, helpful, and really took the time to make sure we were going to have everything we wanted for our special day.I cannot say enough nice things about this establishment and its owner, we will 100% continue to support this amazing local business!Vegetarian options: Falafel, salad, pita and hummusDietary restrictions: Halal

We have been there twice now. Pricing is good. Food is good. However, the second time we were there, the owner's son decided to have a controversial conversation with a customer. The customer (whom I felt was in the right) said he was never coming back. The son said he didn't care. It was very uncomfortable and we will not return. Several customers observed this. It's just bad for business. Many other places to go.

Let me start with the food was all right, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either. However, the person taking my order was a racist man, who thought it appropriate to discuss how Chicago's crime is due to Black people, their culture and lack of fathers in their homes. He was talking as if black people are more prone to criminality and not looking at other factors, which is increasingly gross no matter how you look at it, but especially so considering there happened to be mixed race couple in the establishment, a black man with his white wife. I told the man that took my order that this will be the last time I ever Patron his restaurant. Anyone who values a business that is not openly racist, should not go to this location

I've had inconsistent experiences with the meat at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there have been instances where the meat was undercooked, the shawarma rolls were small, or the meat was dry without any sauce. On some occasions, everything was perfect and made me want to come back. However, today's experience was disappointing, and it might be my last visit. Before placing an order exceeding $100, I recommend checking the quality and taste beforehand. It's like a gamble each time, and it's essential to be cautious about what you might get.

Great place. The kabobs (both the chicken and beef) were freshly made and juicy. They were quite flexible and let me substitute the rice for humus. Would recommend.

The food is good. There is lettuce on the side of combination plate vs tabuli. Expect about $20.00 per plate you order.

Our recent visit to Pita BBQ was disappointing on multiple fronts. Despite being regular patrons, we were surprised by the noticeably smaller portions and the unexpected extra charge for hummus, which had a peculiar aftertaste. Moreover, the prolonged wait for our food only added to our dissatisfaction. The falafel also left much to be desired, with its own strange aftertaste further diminishing our experience. These shortcomings have left us reconsidering our loyalty and questioning whether to continue our weekly visits. Without improvements, our return is uncertain.

Second time eating here and loved my meal! It is off menu item but I called it the Swedish Kabob just like I used to eat when I lived in Sweden. It is fries, gyro meat, salad and then garlic and hot sauce on top. I had it with the spicy fries and omg it was SOOO good!!! I would highly recommend this!

Surprisingly good Indian/greek casual spot. Although not a great spot for dining in, LOTS of people were popping in for pickup. I had the chicken kabob plate. It was $16 and too much for one seating. And the marinade/seasoning they used-delicious! It takes a minute to get food as it is cooked from scratch but because of that the chicken was tender and juicy which is challenging with small pieces like that. I would go out of my way again for it. Dinging one star for lack of atmosphere and disappointing dining room. If they could fix up the tables and chairs a bit, 5 stars for sure!

I got 2 vegetarian plates and they were great. I also got 2 chicken wrap plates and at first they seemed fine. Later on that night both of my daughters and sister got sick from eating the chicken. All 3 of them got food poisoning. They've been sick on both ends all night and the following
