Horrible service! Ordered food never came out, waitress never came back to check on us or say anything to us. Simple order wings, mozzarella sticks and a salad. Paid for a beer and left. Manager or supervisor didn't apologize or say anything to us about the super long wait.

The food was good. We arrived around 7:45 we waited for someone to seat us a table of 2 and a table of 4 came in right behind us. The waitress clearly did not want a 2 top and asked another waitress to guess a number. So the other waitress got the 2 top va the 4 top. Tables were not being cleared/cleaned. The "manager" did not come out to help until around 9 you know closer to closing time.

The service was really good, our server was mahatma and she did an excellent job! The food however was pretty bland, as if it lacked a couple seasonings. Then my tenders, which I got 6 of. Half were fresh and half seemed as if it has been sitting out. The burger was pretty fresh but slightly soggy for some reason. The chips and queso was absolutely awful, I DONT recommend it.

Ordered boiled shrimp as a appetizer. They were great! I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It was huge and the grilled chicken was pretty good. My bestie ordered boneless hot wings. They came cold and soaked in sauce. Not even what he asked for. The wings looked like they had been cooked previous and just sat there. He also ordered tater tots. They cans crispy and fine. Our waitress was sweet but not the greatest waitress. Very big on socializing so if you want the check you have you grab her before she hangs out with her co workers.

This place has gone downhill and should be visited by corporate soon. We’ve been coming to this Hooters for 15+ years. Hooters has always been a safe choice wherever we travel for work and our hometown Hooters is our go-to for when we want crab legs and Buffalo shrimp. (Seriously the best usually) Our entire meal was gross. Our son’s chicken sliders seemed undercooked, the Buffalo shrimp was SWIMMING in sauce and we could barely eat them. The crab legs were half the size /portion we usually are served and were caked in seasoning. The fries were undercooked. The cheese sauce was clumpy and gelatinous. The waitress was nice but not attentive or even aware of her surroundings. There were maybe 10 customers total and all the waitresses seemed unhappy to be there. We ran out of paper towels and I tried to flag someone down but finally got up and took a roll from an empty table. We understand that all restaurants are struggling and maybe it was just an off day so we didn’t complain and decided to leave our waitress a typical 20%+ tip but all 3 of us could not believe how bad the food was. After talking to a few coworkers the following morning, all of the group chimed in about their recent bad experiences with this place too. It’s sad because Springfield has only a few staple restaurants that we all know and love. Hooters has always been a favorite but now we all agree- it needs a visit from HQ soon.

I've been a general manager for 22 years. This is the first time time I've ever called out a fellow manager. I went into the Springfield location on September 20th. Somehow, the floor was both slippery and sticky and they just had wet floor signs out instead of doing anything about. I went into the men's bathroom to wash my hands and noticed another guy in there. The bathroom was in pretty bad shape as well. Paper towels all over the floor, sinks need wiped and sanitized and the trash can needed taken care of. I walked out and sat down. I noticed the other guy that was in there while I was, walked out. I could see the office door from where I was seated and saw him go in and sit down. He sat there the length of my stay. Never once checking on the kitchen, coaching employees, walking the dining room and clearly not cleaning or delegating any cleaning duties to anyone. The bartender and servers did a good job but this gentleman seemed not to care at all. I asked the girls who the guy in the green shirt was and they informed me he was their manager. I had a couple of beverages and needed to return to the restroom before I left. The bathroom was exactly like it was the first time I went in. I don't know a single GM who would walk into a bathroom like that and not, at the very least, pick up the paper towels on the floor. I feel bad posting this but guy either doesn't notice or doesn't care. Neither are very good traits for someone running a restaurant.

1st time I was here it was a decent experience overall. This time I was disappointed.I will admit it was partly on me. When we arrived there was no one at the door to seat us we waited a few then I sat at a open table. Everyone working there was staring and pointing. Ten I guess it was the person who was supposed to seat guest. She walks by says "you have to wait to be seated" . I reply there was no one to seat us. Then she says in a smart a** way "That's why you wait". B**** what?? I would of turn around and left but I drove 60 miles to bring my sons out to eat. Never coming back here again. I'll go to Chicago if I have to.

The Buffalo shrimp with spicy Garlic sauce were very good/ well above average. However, my Order of curly fries came out barely warm and pretty small- maybe half a normal order's worth. I mentioned it to the manager who kindly stopped by and she gave me a fresh order. Overall, I was happy with the meal. Springfield seems like a languishing town so I imagine they have a hard time keeping wait staff. None seemed happy to be there and it seemed like about 2 servers were doing a majority of the work. I would come again- mainly for those shrimp!

Passing through Springfield, IL...hungry for Mexican food. Checked the website for vegetarian menu..."It appears you are lost." Okay I think, I'll just call to see if they have vegetarian options and what time they close. No one answers and their mailbox is "full." Moving on and won't be back.

I ordered lunch from here on 4/27/22. When the food arrived my chicken was RAW. I called the restaurant asking for my food to be replaced. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to call back after 5pm (3 hrs form now). I was told I could come pick up another meal however this was delivered. I'm at the office or else I would have picked it up to begin with. I told the gentleman this didn't work for me. I told the guy I'd come in after I got off from work. I asked if I could have a free drink, desert or anything to make up for the inconvenience. The guy hung up on me. When i tried calling back he refused to answer. (I called a few times) Won't be spending any more of my money here with rude people.

First off our server was great. Very attentive and polite. However the wait for our food was ridiculously long. Now I just say, we were the only customers in the building f but it still took 45 minutes for the food to be served. Unacceptable.

I have dined here on several occasions and each time the service had been terrible, thinking it would get better l. We waited over 50 minutes for only wings and fries yes with no apology and no refills offered. When I asked what was taking so long she said it’s a cooks fault, would not even take ownership.
