So let's give this place a try since we originally opened up on Chicago. Springfield, let's be honest here. The spot is smaller than our Chicago locations, and we could not see the person behind the bullet-proof glass, but he was pleasant, and the spot is good. I ordered gizzard and wings, and they surely compared them well to their Chicago counterparts. I was happy. I love the fact that they did the exact recipe, and that means something. Greay food and of course I was able to find parking in front and that's important. It's a take out spot for sure as there is no seating. And the guy behind the glass makes sure you check your bag prior to leaving. That's an awesome point. What a pleasant experience, and you definitely will get the great Chicago taste and freshness that we here are used to. Try them out and know it's real!

By far the best chicken wings I’ve had in Springfield, combined with the hot sauce and lemon pepper seasoning it made for a great lunch. The food was priced greatly as well. It was empty when I came and ordered which is a shame considering the quality of the food. The community should rally around spots like these before all we’re left with are McDonald’s and burger kings on every corner.

The place is rarely open. The place is closed on Thursday afternoon it says open but it's not you can never tell when it is open. The lady who works the window is rude whenever it is open. Plus it's extremely slow. There never a way to tell if it's open they don't pick up the phone.

Arrived a little after high noon on Friday. Neon sign in the window said open. Only one car in the parking lot. Seemed strangely deserted for Friday lunch. I didn't order or go inside. The posted menu had lots of offerings that looked great. There were very few other options for fried chicken nearby.
