Called to order a pizza, person answering the phone was very short while ordering. No big deal. Waited the hour to get the pizza. I thought the pizza must be great if it takes that long to make or they are very busy. Neither was the case unfortunately. Called to let them know I was there and was hung up on. Extremely rude behavior by the employees, especially for a pizza that digiorno wouldn’t put their label on. Doughy flour tasting crust basically nonexistent awful sauce skimpy toppings. At 2 pieces and threw the rest in the trash. Save your time, money, and dignity before patronizing this rat hole of an instant bake pizza place.

I have very fond memories of Joe's over the years - even driving by brings a smile to my face. So the nostalgia coupled with the amazing pizza brings it to 5 stars for me. The service is hit-or-miss depending on who helps you but its really never been the friendliest place to order from. My most recent order was hot & ready in the 45 minutes quoted and the young man who brought the order out was very nice. While they make a solid pizza with good crust and a sweeter sauce, don't pass over the lasagna - it is delicious!

Always a great pizza. Carry out (pickup, they bring it to your car) only so the atmosphere is as good as your vehicle. They are busy so be prepared to dial their number frequently but the pizza is worth any wait you may have.

Great pizza, could use more sauce (a bit dry). Too bad you can't sit down and order anymore ... since pandemic.

All I can say is WOW horrific customer service. That old woman will run that business down to the ground.I order there every couple of weeks and today when I was trying to order it was continuously busy and then it said I was blocked. That’s weird so I had my boyfriend try and he got the busy line non stop but no message saying he was blocked. So, he went to the store and tried to just order a Togo since he couldn’t get through to anyone and the young kid took the order and said it was going to be an hour. I showed up an hour later to pick up the pizza and the old woman came out and said she didn’t have the pizza that he placed because they don’t do that it was only curbside ordering and we needed to call the number. I then explained that I couldn’t get through to order and he tried but mine said it was blocked and then she had the AUdacity to say that they blocked me for a reason either I didn’t pick up a pizza or someone was being an idiot. ????? She had no clue why I was blocked, called me an idiot indirectly, did not care to resolve any issue and didn’t know of an issue. I would say that if she was smart that she would have a separate line for people to call orders in and then have a separate line for people to call to pick up the pizzas curbside so that people can get through the lines without continually being busy and if she was smart she would not assume and she would know why someone was blocked if someone went to the extent of blocking someone. I am so appalled by her, such an awful person. I will let everyone know about this experience. I have never felt so attacked by nothing that was done wrong.

In an earlier time I would have given all 5 stars. I hadn't been to Joe's Pizza for several months and was looking forward to the savory pizza Springfield has come to depend upon for many years. Should I say decades? When I arrived to pick up my order I was surprised to find a locked door. The dining room was dark but the kitchen lights were on. I waved to a cook who came to the door, unlocked it, and handed me the pizza. They're evidently going through some transition. At this time I don't know if it's remodeling or shutting down. I hope it's not the latter. I have a lot of happy memories associated with Joe's. I'm sure a lot of others have too. So my advice is GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!

My dad really liked their pizza, and it's been YEARS since I have eaten it, so we decided to have this one, on a Thursday evening. To Start, they are open strange hours (Thur-Sun 4pm-9pm), and they wont let ANYONE into the building to pick up the pizza...you have to wait in your car, give them a call when you get there, and then they bring it out to you (which I thought was very strange...is the restaurant dirty or something?!). The pizza was very average, in my opinion...not much flavor in the dough, sauce was very bland. The sausage and pepperoni were good, but it wasn't enough to carry the pizza. I don't think I will be getting pizza from Joes the next time I'm in town, as there are (in my humble opinion) better family ran pizza places to choose from.

Best pizza in Springfield. Fair prices for what you get. Love the lasagna and Italian beef.

Forever a family staple for us! I love the cheese and the sausage pizzas. And fabulous lasagna. I'm the 4th generation of family in Springfield to love Joe's pizza. They are THE best!
