This place is a gem! My whole family was so impressed. Everything was flavorful and well balanced. “Smooth” was the word that kept getting repeated-from the salsa to the margarita, to the sauces. AMAZING food. Just sad that we were only passing through.

Two couples traveling stopped here for dinner. We sat outside under a covered patio. The service was WONDERFUL and the food was excellent. When our waiter learned that we were celebrating an anniversary, they came with a complimentary dessert, two sombreros, and surrounded us and sang a song! Perfect ending to a perfect evening!!!

We stop at this restaurant every time we are passing thru Springfield, IL. The service & food has always been EXCELLENT…YUMMO! Do not judge this restaurant based on its outside appearance, once inside everything is FANTASTIC!!

They are one of the only places that offer spinach chicken enchiladas and are fantastic. Everything was flavorful. Just small portions of cheese dip for the price. Strawberry daiquiri was good but average. One of the better places in the area.

As an actual Hispanic from Houston texas, I gotta say I'm usually disappointed trying to find authentic Mexican restaurants in northern states. But this place is as close as it gets to authentic Mexican food. Good food, good vibe, micheladas made right with chamoy in the rim. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again. From one Hispanic to another, cheers.
Went this past Friday night. Very busy - still got seated right away. Service was fine - friendly all around. Chips and salsa are good - but I like spicy salsa and theirs is mild - still tastes good tho. I ordered fajitas. Pan was not sizzling like many other places and beans and rice were already cold by the time they got to the table. Our waiter did not bring the food but did check up on us and they forget the tortilla chips and sauce.

Food was great. My food came out without grilled pineapple which the waiter promptly corrected and got me a bowl of grilled pineapple. Service was good. My margarita was very good. Highly recommend getting rice. My family and I would return again.
