Stopped in on a whim while in from out of town. Great little bar/restaurant. Friendly staff and clean. Had a cup of chili which was very good. I'd go back!

Excellent food, even after being inside a paper sack for an hour. Chicken & the side dishes are excellent. Prices are lower than most other local establishments. Fast service.

Great fried chicken!!! Called ahead and picked up 20 minutes later. Even tho they were packed full the lone waitress got my food to me as quickly as she could. Will definitely be calling

Picked up chicken dinner there but had to go in and had no idea how to get it as no drive thru anymore. I wish I could have gotten the pieces I wanted but they never asked; had to call again as they never even asked for my last name so I got there and went to the pick up area where the food is being prepared but no had to go to the bar and pay and the person at the bar and she walked over and put the container and napkins in a plastic bag. The chicken was tasteless but big juicy portions. The rest of it was thrown out to the birds and possums as it was worse than the chicken. How hard is it to make corn and mashed taters? I guess pretty hard over there and at $12.25 I think I stay home.

The food is decent. Although the building is in dire need of an expansion. Seating is a Lil tight. Also if you like draft beer this is not the place to go.

Was in town for a wedding and looking for a low key place to eat and grab a beer... read other reviews on Yelp and wasn't disappointed!!! The staff was very friendly and greeted us right away and I felt comfortable in this local little bar .... it was a Friday early Evening and the place was filling up for their fish fry .... I had a club sandwich and it was very fresh and very good! I would recommend this place hands down!!!!

Arrived to restaurant and the waitress Karen blatantly did not acknowledge us for over 20 minutes and just continued to walk by and assist other customers until my sister finally asked if someone could assist us and she replied she thought the other waitress had helped us and we said no. Jackie was amazing and provided excellent service of all my years living in Springfield this was my first time supporting this local business establishment. It is now 2023, and saddening that racism still exists. I am a highly educated black woman with a very established career and to receive this treatment was not acceptable. Unfortunately I will no longer support this form of treatment. You must treat paying customers with dignity and respect no matter the race or gender.

Had there Fried Chicken tonight for the first time and hands down best chicken I've had in a long time. There mashed potatoes and white gravy were like how my grandma use to make them. Thank u for great food and your staff was polite and friendly.
