Our waitress was so helpful and kind. The atmosphere was very laid back. It was busy yet I didn't have to yell or even speak loudly to hear dinner party. I had the half rack of Imported Ribs and my son had a combo plate with wings and pulled pork. I wished I got the full rack since there was so little meat on bones. The sauce was very tasty. I got an order of wings to go and they were good and cooked perfectly. If you are accustomed to authentic down home barbecue like me you may find Smokey Bones to be too far on the generic casual dining side. If I were comparing the restaurant to some of the BBQ places I've visited in St Louis, Texas, or even Chicago I would rate it much lower; however, compared to restaurants in general it is perfectly fine.

Ordered platter to go. Everything was overcooked. The potato fries were burnt, chicken wings way overcooked, the ribs were okay, and the chicken beat was okay. For $50, I threw away at least $40. Dining in was better. But disappointed overall. I was looking forward to enjoying the meal over the weekend...

Terrible food wings were burnt barely any sauce or dry rub didn't get cheesecake or a drink 85.00 never again and food was delayed over an hour when called I was told by kitchen manager that I was lying because they have had no dalyed orders and he started yelling for the GM and a woman was cussing saying give me the phone I'll say I'm the @##&-# Manger..all around terriblein everyway

Our waiter took our order, then ask IF there was anything else, we replied no! He then said would you like some cornbread? My hubby said yes, We were then served a $9.00 appetizer! 4 small pieces of cornbread for 4 people. We cannot go out often because we are on a limited income of SS. I made a complaint to the manager , to no response about upsellling. If he ask would there be anything else and the response was no, why ask if we wanted bread with our dinner of sandwiches? I'm not going back!
