We showed up on Father's Day evening and the doors were unlocked, but the place was dark, and no one was there

Excellent food with fresh ingredients and great service. Couldn't be happier with our experience.Vegetarian options: Great breaded and seasoned fresh portobello mushroom slices fried to perfection.A generous portion of cheese fries and various salads will do in a pinch when you are with carnivores.

Great place for an authentic pub experience. Would highly recommend for out of town guests for an authentic take on the Springfield staple - The Horseshoe or The Ponyshoe. Similar to the TV show Cheers, the bartender is a great guy and the food is outstanding. Definitely will visit again.

Hadn't been there in years, and my son and I we're out running around. Thought we could go there for some good food for lunch on Saturday December 3rd.Got there at noon, they had been open for an hour. Walked in, there was nobody in there customer wise or employee wise anyway. Heard people in the back talking and laughing. My son and I stood there for almost 5 minutes, even talking loudly, and NOBODY came out to see or check on anything at all. So I told my son we were leaving. As we walked out, a girl looked out the side door of the building, saw us, and smiled. Did not say 1 word at all! I laughed and said "that's ridiculous.". Again she said nothing, just smiled and shut the door.Pitty because this place used to be great. Can't even get employees to do what they are hired for. Literally wasn't 1 customer in the place. I guess I could see why. Will not be back. Sucks because this place is a springfield staple.

This place has been consistently good over the years. I had the loaded chipotle horseshoe very recently and it did not disappoint. I took the family during happy hour which ended up being a great idea. Great specials, not super crowded. The manager was super nice and brought out crayons and some table games for my kids. Great experience overall.
