This place needs better help and faster service. Our waitress, i believe her name is Naomi. Was running ?♂️ around like a chicken with it's head cut off. The other older waitress was just to busy complaining about everything. It was very cold in the dining room. My wife had hers and my jacket on! Food was ok nothing to jump up and shout about. Feel sorry for Naomi, i know she's tired when she gets home at the pace she was moving around. We won't be back. First and last time there. You get one chance at my business. Way better places to eat in town, than to wait extended periods to eat lunch!

Village Tea Room did not disappoint! I went with some friends to celebrate the holiday, and everyone really enjoyed their meal!! The lobster bisque and lemon meringue pie were absolutely amazing!! My sandwich was also really good, but a little light on the cheese and heavy on the apple butter. My only complaint was that it took a long time to get our food. But they were very busy and the food was worth the wait! For being in the Midwest, I can't believe how good the bisque is!

The food was absolutely delicious but the service was some of the worst I’ve ever had. From the get go, I could tell our server was in a mood and feeling stressed. They were busy when we arrived so we were willing to overlook her brusque behavior. But everything took so long that by the end, it was just us and one other table. For some reason, it took about 20 minutes to get the check. When I mentioned it to management, they said “sorry” and that was that.

so bad i want to give it a zero. service was absolutely terrible. we waited over an hour for our food and never received refills on our drinks. once the food arrived, it was absolutely disgusting. the lobster bisque was the worst thing i've ever tasted. i almost threw up all over the tacky grandma decor. the turkey club was obviously made with crappy ingredients and wasn't good. the lemonade and teas are made with syrups. do not come here unless you want to also go through the taco bell drive thru on the way home.

The lobster bisque soup is a favorite. They have a 3 tier lunch that has soup or side, sandwich and dessert. Be hungry if you choose that! I don't think we have had anything that we didn't like. The desserts are scrumptious!

Great casual tea room with yummy sandwiches, soups and salads! There is also a large shopping area filled with everything from soap, jewelry and greeting cards, to clothing, candles and home decor. A favorite place to meet friends and unwind!

One star is to good of a rating for this establishment.. We drove 2 hours to visit this tea room and we will never be back nor will I recommend this place to ANYONE… we were there well before the lunch rush and the service was the worst we have ever experienced in our lives. She was ill mannered and poorly managed her time. We sat down and the first thing she said was how she was only here for the tips, she may walk out before her shift was up and complained about serving. It took her over 20 minutes to get our drinks, which meant our hot teas were lukewarm at best, our food took over an hour to get and it was cold when it came to our table. We received no drink refills and she never checked on us. When we were ready for our check once again it took 15 minutes to get it. I’m not sure who is running this establishment but maybe they should find a new occupation after reading the responses to their negative reviews …
