I tried to give it a chance and its a no for me ordered the combo plate with extra garlic butter medium well steak with shrimp Maybe someone who's never been to an actual hibachi grill would like it but Im good 1 star for taste 5 stars for customer service Happy Yelping

I would have given 5 stars but they over cooked my steak. I asked for medium rare it was well done. The flavor is delicious and the rice and veggies are so good. You do have to pay for yummy sauce .75 a container.

My first time ordering from this food truck. They are very prompt with responding to text. The food is delicious. They give you quite a bit of food for the price which is low for the amount, soda or bottled water included in the price. I ordered a salmon plate. All the plates come with grilled hibachi vegetables and fried rice. I am totally enjoying this food experience and so is my mom and son. They are eating shrimp, my brother steak. The cashier and cooks were friendly. I give them five stars because of the service, timing (food ready when I got there) , and the taste and color of the food and it was hot when I picked it up and didn't turn cold while I was eating.

Ordered a trio plate Steak,shrimp,lobster for some reason received shirmp,steak & chicken food was alright nothing to crazy also the wait time was crazy ordered my food at 5:23Pm didn't get the order until 6:30/40. Other than that foods a little pricy and there is a lot of other places making the food they make better and cheaper

When it comes to hibachi I'm partial to Benihana particularly when it comes to chicken fried rice. Honestly this is pretty much on par. Flavor on the steaks, shrimp, chicken & fried rice was all on point. Saves me a trip over the bridge.

Thank the hood for food trucks 'cus Yummy Yummy is goin up! I hear they used to sell plates out their house so I was more than happy to support them. Not a lot of the best food options in Deep East Oakland other than fast food spots. Not many food trucks or hole in the wall joints either. This truck is right on 73rd on the way to the airport. The only other hibachi truck is in downtown Oakland on Broadway and that's a long way to go when you're on the opposite side. I say all that to say, Yummy Yummy understands the assignment! Reasonable prices, generous amount, good flavor, and they have banana pudding. Don't forget to get some sauce on the side too.
