If you are not a regular, stay far, far away from this cesspool. Filled with Neckbeards and disgruntled and angry people who look like they have had way too much sodium and are in need of dental care. Was looking for a chill place for a couple of coors. Place seemed cool at first, until an angry 'regular' came in - cops had to be called. Gave bartender Val a cash tip, she complained that I didn't leave her anything. Would like my $12 tip back. Seriously. It's not a safe place. Farkis seemed nice though. I liked him.

The only true St Charles town bar. The server was hard at work, her was cooking in the back. The jukebox was full of songs over 300 in backlog. Enjoyed a maker's and coke and PBR. Place was full. Got photos of the experience.
Look I'm from Florida I come into St Charles every couple years to visit and I make sure to stop in this tavern everyone in there is great the bartenders are great you can ask to turn up the music..

Cold beer . Great beer and shot bar . There's not really much good quality food there . A lot of typical deep fried items like mini tacos, cheese sticks , wings etc . They do make a good pizza there , however not from scratch . They use premade pizza dough and canned pizza sauce. The pizza is very good though. It has a comfortable dive bar atmosphere with one great bartender. Great homey neighborhood joint . Thepeople there (customers) are very nice .
