Being a 90's kid this bar is my jam. It's my vibe and me and my friends love it. The drinks are good and the games are nostalgic. What's not to love playing arcade machines and old school Nintendo and Saga games? Exactly, nothing! We came to this place based on a recommendation from one of my buddies and I'm glad we stopped by for some drinks and to hangout. It's brings me back to that time where we all had less responsibility and no mortgage or rent and we can just be a kid for a few hours. ? If you're lucky enough to sit at the gaming table snap a picture cause it's amazing!

Tap lines need to be cleaned, otherwise I think it’s an awesome bar.I’ve been in twice and had this issue. This past time I had two beers an ipa and a pale ale. Both tasted really funky and my friend thought the same.Otherwise the staff are super friendly and attentive, the games tend to be clean and in working order, and there’s a good amount of space to grab a chair or stand and chat. I love the atmosphere.

Love the atmosphere here. Definitely a favorite bar hang out in St. Charles. Pinball machines, darts, lots of fun stuff! The drink options are great too. They have a fun costume party close to Halloween which I recommend attending. The music is always great too! Highly recommend! Bartender is always kind and attentive too.

Bouncer, bartender and owner all great people. Been going here regularly for the 3 years I’ve lived in St. Charles and really no other spot compares. Bingo on Thursdays, tv drawings for bears games, darts, pinball and the best beer selection around. Can’t ask for anything more, thank you guys!

This place has such a cool vibe, but it all gets ruined at the front door by the bouncer/door holder. My buddy and I have been skipping all the other bars and go straight to bogarts for the vibe, drinks and a slice of pizza. Yesterday I had a new paper ID printed in the morning at the DMV. Later that night we decided to go to Bogarts. We walked in at 8:15 PM and were greeted by a very rude and upset looking bouncer (long gray beard). After checking my buddies ID I handed him my new paper ID and said it was just printed this morning. The bouncer absolutely lost his cool And became very unprofessional. He proceeded to say that’s not a funny joke and starting threatening to confiscate my ID and I would need to call the police to get my id back. My buddy and I looked at each other and walked straight out the doors. They lost $200 that night not a huge deal, but definitely not going to recommend this bar to anyone else going forward and definitely won’t be the main bar for the town. I’m leaving at 2 star review as all the other times I’ve been in there have been an positive experience but this latest experience had left a bad taste in my mouth before even getting a drink. I Hope they can figure out what’s going on with the unprofessional staff member, I sure would like to return and leave a better review in the future but if he’s in the window we will keep walking.

Long story short, I'd gone barhopping a few days ago. Anyways, that night I get home and realize I'm missing my wedding band. After calling the bars I'd been to I eventually began to loose hope. That is till this evening I got a call from the owner at Bogarts. Sure enough they'd found my ring! Big thanks to the staff at Bogarts! For great atmosphere, good selection of craft beer, and honest folks, please check out Bogarts. I know I will whenever I'm in town.

I’ve only been in here once before and I had a good time having a few drinks and playing pinball. I tried to stop in on my way home from a gig for a nightcap and play some pinball only to confront a locked door at 1am when the establishment is open until 2am. If your hours of business are clearly stated then your doors need to be open to patrons during those hours.
My friends Chad, Sarah and I come to bingo and as many events as we can! Their themed events are always so well put together and the attention to detail is 10/10!!! The staff is AMAZING and legit you can’t go wrong with the ambiance and altogether beautiful bar it is! Rick also is the best bingo caller in this land and nobody can top it ??♀️ If you’re not going to Bogart’s then what the heck are you doing?!

My friend had a paper ID copy , not expired or anything totally valid. I’m a few years older than them and I am the bar tender at the job we all work at, so I would know. There was 0 reason to deny us. Not coming back. Replying to the business reply: not one of our hard copy IDs was run through a scanner. He legit just looked at mine quickly and handed it back. My picture on my ID doesn’t look like me at all anymore but he barely even batted an eye at it and gave it back. We went to two other bars with the paper ID AND work at a bar… again. I know bartenders can deny as they please, but there was not a single thing wrong with her ID. Your bartenders need to be refreshed on how to actually spot fakes. Sorry but will not recommend this place to people now, that was ridiculous and it was my first time there and we came from pretty far to check it out. Not a good impression. It is what it is, we ended up back at my regular bar and gave them our business instead. Inside was cool though ??♀️

I Genuinely like bogarts. It’s a great place to go out with a group. A big plus is that they sell Taylor St pizza which is super nice for a night out. My only complaint and the biggest issue I have is the incredibly rude bouncer. He had a longer pointy beard with long hair. when we tried to walk into the establishment he held the door and wouldn’t let us in. Confused because it was only 11:40pm and they are open until 2am. I also was not wasted/ obliterated so there was no reason not to let us in. When I asked for a reason, the response I got back was “because I don’t want to, I make the rules” quote on quote exactly what was said and then slammed the door shut in front of my face. I do not think this is any way to treat your customers at the front door.

Saw some pics online of this place after searching for bars in downtown St. Charles to check out and figured it looked pretty interesting. We came during a slower time because we ate dinner early but it picked up later on. The beers on tap were pretty good and the owners and bartender were very personable. The prices were reasonable too. It's really chill and we enjoyed playing bags on the patio in the back. Love the artwork, funky decor, pinball machines, darts, etc. My fav was the "garage beer fridge" behind the bar. The vibes here are great! Would definitely recommend and go back.

The most fun bar in town, best on the west side for sure. Darts, pinball, retro videogames, theme nights, gambling, you name it, they've got it. Excellent selection of craft beers.Parking: A little far from the parking garage, but there's several lots around.
