I came in the other day after a long day of work with a healthy appetite and Crazy Fox didn’t disappoint. I sat at the bar and was greeted and treated with great service from Jeanette and Marissa. I started with an amazing Angel’s Envy Old Fashioned. Since I was so hungry I proceeded to put in an order of Nachos, which were put in no time and they were fantastic! For dinner I went with the Chicken Guac Wrap, so much flavor.I will definitely be back. Happy hour crafts are only $5!!! Located right across from the Arcada Theater, this place will keep me coming back for pre and post game for concerts.

The lobster sliders are the best in St. charles with fresh lobster with bacon and home made chips you can’t find at other bars. Cotton candy jello shots and beverages are delicious and affordable prices. The best menu and beverage come with the cleanest bar in the town of St. Charles!

As we eat our way through Main Street St. Charles, Illinois, our next establishment was The Crazy Fox Bar and Grill. It felt like we walked into a piece of historic Saint Charles. A beautiful long wooden bar covered the right wall and dining tables filled in the remainder of the narrow establishment. It was quaint, well-maintained, and clean. There were T.V.s about the bar and lively music playing. The sound level was perfect, we could maintain a good conversation and still enjoy the music. Most surprising was the extensive vegan menu. Nothing from the outside of the building would alert anyone of this vegan restaurant. What was often advertised was the Fish Fry Dinners. We ordered two Codfish Fish Fry Dinners, and a Chicken Avocado Wrap with a side of Roasted Vegetables. The Fish Fry Dinners were lightly breaded and delicious. The fries were thinly cut and seasoned to perfection. The Chicken Avocado Wrap was good, but pretty ordinary. The Roasted Vegetables were cut extremely small and overcooked to the point of being mushy. The service was excellent. Our server Petrana was friendly, knew the menu, and was very attentive. She was very responsive when we indicated that we did not care for the roasted vegetables. This was a great dining experience.

Stinky bar smell. We were a large crowd and it took a while for the one bartender to handle our orders. She did so efficiently. Didn’t try any food from menu. Cute lights up, for Christmas??

Great food and service. Got a table right away. Music was a little loud for a conversation with the wife after a long week but will be back again.
We went here before a concert at the Arcada. The place was packed. It started out that we were waited on quickly but that didn't last unfortunately. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and my husband got a burger. Our food came out in ok time however, my wrap was loosely wrapped ( food was mostly on the plate) and it had no sauce, buffalo or otherwise. I tried some and the chicken seemed as if it was cooked some time before or sat for a while. I was trying to go with the flow and just dump it on the plate and make a salad of it. To do this, however I needed some ranch or something. We never saw our server again. So I didn't end up eating it. She came by when we waived her down for the check, she noticed and asked if I didn't like it. I let her know it was cold and not at all a buffalo chicken wrap as it had no buffalo sauce. She asked if I wanted another one but we had to leave. Had been there an hour already at this point. She did take it off the bill. My husband liked his burger so I am sticking with 3 stars as I think they may have just been crazy busy and that caused the mishap.

The atmosphere is a blend of a historic neighborhood tavern with modern updates. Our server/bartender was friendly & offered helpful suggestions. I was THRILLED to see several vegan options - much more than the standard beyond burger! My husband had the Reuben with tots, I had the vegan Italian beef with fries. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. We both ended up taking home leftovers. I highly recommend the Crazy Fox!

"I have no idea" was the theme last night. When a customer is asking a question, and the server has no idea, how about asking the owner (who was there last night) and getting an answer. Lousy service. I have been going to this place for 4 years, I don't know if the crowd has changed and the bar has adjusted its level of service to accommodate but I won't be coming back here again.
Crazy Fox did not impress me. On Sunday, I stopped here for lunch after walking around the scarecrow festival with my girlfriend. When I tried to get a beer, the waitress said, "We are out." After my fourth attempt, I finally got a beer. After I got my drink, we ordered lunch. I had the pork chops with potato wedges my girlfriend had a vegan dish. Her lunch was delicious, but mine was not. The pork chop was highly seasoned and a little pink on the inside, and the potato wedges were uncooked. I could not finish my meal and asked for a box. I reheated the food the next day but it was still not very good so I threw it out. What a waste of money. Crazy Fox is fine for a beer but not for food. I'm not going back

The vegan Italian beef was delicious! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it ?. Loved it all; the vegan meat, the roll, the broth, the fries.Also, had a really nice time chatting with the owner ?. She recommended a couple ciders and both were super tasty!Can't wait to come back!!Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options!

The most vegan options I've seen outside of a dedicated vegan restaurant. There's an entire page of them and they're awesome. Will be coming back to try more! The fries are super awesome too.
