Jeff, our waiter was awesome. Curds, brats and pretzel bites were amazing. Great service and beer was cold! The Wisconsin, brandy old fashion was on point. Will be back!

Good food and good service. I had the Barnhouse burger - which is a 1/3 lb burger patty topped with pulled pork and a cheese curd patty on a brioche bun. The pretzel bites and beer cheese were also great! Definitely feels like a slice of Wisconsin in downtown St. Charles.
Not only is their food and service great, I have to applaud Duke's for helping out a non for profit and allowing us to takeover their back room. It was a perfect sized room and we had plenty of servers taking care of us. Thank you for being a good neighbor! We appreciate it! #stcharleswomensclub

my third time here and every time the food just keeps getting worse. Tonight I just wanted a good bowl of chicken noodle soup and instead what I got was a cup of yellow water with grease on top. It's sort of reminded me of the way, Curley used to make chicken soup on the Three Stooges. Pour water through a carcass. Last time I had the fish and chips which were a grease bomb. not coming back ever.

Love, love, love the great service. Here on St. Patty's day celebration for the parade, and their food and drink were on point! Especially love the old bay dry rub wings. The cheese curds were amazing, fun fun fun place, you must stop by!

Fun spot! Gives me Wisconsin/Minnesota vibes. Great drinks (nonalcoholic options too which was nice). I haven’t tried the food yet but it looks good! I really like the atmosphere. It’s an outdoorsy inside. TV’s for sports. Good music always playing. Highly recommend! One of my fav spots downtown St. Charles.

Dukes is not a bad place nor is it a great place. IMHO. First off. If they really want to be "northwoods" like Wisconsin, they are going to have to increase the size of the drinks and lower the prices. That being said, the Brandy Old Fashioned was good. Just not much for $14. We just did appetizers. All were very good. The curds had a nice light batter and the chipotle ranch to dip was nice. The fish nuggets were also light and I have to say the lemon aioli was just right for them. (In the Northwoods you'd probably just get tartar.) The sliders were nicely done too. Like a mini smash burger with just one patty. The dining room is not really very Northwoodsy. You look out over a parking lot but the bar looked pretty cool. I'd recommend eating at the bar for a closer to authentic experience. The service was first rate. The bill with tip. $80. Two drinks and three apps. Not complaining. Just saying inflation stinks.
