I very politely called about the mix up and was hung up on. Picked up an order for someone and they couldn’t eat it. Let’s just hang up on people instead of making it right. Awesome! Problem solved?

I hate to leave a negative rating, but the Nachos were horrible. They are served with a cheese whip type cheese sauce that you would expect with pub food, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. I definitely won’t go back.

Burrito Guacamole on Main Street was our next stop, as we eat our way through Saint Charles, Illinois. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, but you get an authentic Mexican vibe and the food and service was wonderful. We ordered at the counter, and the food was brought to us at the table. We had pleasant conversation with the woman who was working both the counter and serving the food. She was very friendly and informative.. We were pleasantly surprised with a complementary start of chips and salsa while we waited for our food. We had a Chile Rellenos Dinner, a Chicken Chimichanga , and a Chicken Burrito. The food was served hot and was very generous in portions. It tasted delicious. They are also open for breakfast. This is definitely a place to check out for good Mexican food.

I've tried most of the Mexican places around here since I've been working the area for close to 3 years now. This place will always have a special place in my heart and stomach as the "neon-green building on Main St." This is place is as good as it gets for authentic Mexican food. Everything from the vibes, to the walls, to the tables, to the server/cashier (who is a very nice lady) and the one cook in the back. The pictures of the food on the wall, I just f*cking love it. My go to for lunch here is the steak burrito and horchata. Since I always dine in they give you free chips and salsa and man those chips and salsa are good! It's got the right amount of kick and is super delicious. I honestly believe you can judge how good a Mexican restaurant is just by how good their salsa is. If you don't have good salsa then you don't have good food, am I right here? The way they prep the burrito is A+. The ingredients are fresh and the steak has just the right amount of grease and that's a good thing! They press the burrito between two hot plates before it's served so it's got a nice crust on the outside of the burrito and it keeps everything intact, nothing worse than a soggy wet burrito that's messy. I really enjoy the food there and they do a great job from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. St. Charles is really lucky to have such a great establishment in the area and I wish them all the best and continued success for many more years to come.
