Kind of a hidden charmer. I wouldn't have found this if friends had not told me about it. Glad they did. The food was excellent especially the steak, which can be risky at times in type of cuisine. It was not overcooked tender and juicy.The service was attentive but not smothering. The prices were on the upside but the quality of the meal justified it.

Lupita's Cocina has become our weekly go-to restaurant. The guacamole appetizer is very flavorful, and you get a good amount of it. My wife loves the shrimp in diabla sauce, while I alternate between the enchiladas nortenas and the carne asada. We have never had a bad meal here, and the service is always exceptional. Also, I don't know their secret, but Lupita's Cocina has the best flour tortillas!

What a charming little restaurant with a darling patio and a cosey dining room setting. I absolutely loved the food and the service was outstanding! Carolina waited on me ans ahe was very attentive and really sweet. I got the shrimp tacos and they were so flavorful and really delicious. I cant wait to return and have more off of the expansive menu. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone who lives in the area and to those looking for delectable authentic Mexican food. I live in Hoffman Estates and it was most definitely worth the drive to taste such a delicacy. 10/10. I will be back many many many more times. This is my new go-to for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Had the shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas, and they were absolutely delicious. The corn tortillas were some of the best tortillas I’ve ever had. This food was even delivered so I am sure it’s even better in the restaurant.

I was very impressed with my take out order. Tacos were excellent! There was plenty of meat on eat taco and they were dressed up nicely. Everyone on here who complains about price must be comparing them to Taco Bell because the prices are on par with every taco place I've been to in the last 5 years. This is my new favorite food place in the area!

This is my first below 5 star review! My coworkers and I went after work to relax and unwind after a work week and we unfortunately not only felt rushed but felt like a burden to the establishment. According to their listing the restaurant is open until 9 and we were told last call for kitchen was at 7:45. We then saw the chef leave the restaurant and everything started to close down…I don’t feel we will be back. We wanted to support local business as well
The service was very good, and the restaurant is clean. Ingredients were fresh. I ordered the chicken quesadillas which were disappointing. The fajitas were very small actually charged extra for additional tortillas. Avocado and sour cream was extra which was disappointing. Menu said the chicken fajitas for $16, I was charged almost $20. And the bill was extremely high for what you were given in a lunch menu. I would recommend other Mexican restaurants in the area before this one.

The food was terrible!!! I had chicken and steak fajitas. The steak was tough, chicken was dry, and vegetables were over cooked. The service and ambiance was good.

Chips were stale and salsa lacked flavor. The picadillo tacos had zero flavor. Chicken was dry and chewy. It used to be good. Maybe they have a new cook. They don't have enough help either so service was spotty.
