Wow that was really good! I tend to order sushi for pick up on Fridays. Thought I'd try a new place. Bummer that you can't order on line -but I was able to see the menu here on Yelp and ordered - miso soup; green dragon and Mexican roll. Very easy and pleasant pick up and man everything was top notch! Very large portions and great quality!! I'll def be ordering from here more often. Unfortunately they have severe staffing issues and only doing carry out on weekends and some table seating during the week. They do have teppanyaki tables but they are currently not utilizing them again due to staffing. Definitely try this place! Ok

I don't know what to say except you're missing out if you haven't decided to come here yet. The food is fantastic, the staff is amazing and always makes sure you're taken care of. During covid, there's always gonna be a longer wait time, but the food is so unbelievable its absolutely worth waiting for. The fried rice is the best I've ever had, the gyoza is always so crispy, and the TIGER ROLL!!! Don't talk to me about the tiger roll. It's so good it's almost offensive.I love this place, definitely try it out next time you're craving sushi.

The best sushi I have had in my life. I have tried sushi places in downtown Chicago, New York, and Denever. Nobody beats Mr. Samurai. The prices are unbelievably reasonably fie the serving sizes and quality. This place makes every other sushi place disappointing.

Very good Chicken with tori-katsu. Dippimg sauce was a little too stromg for me. However, chicken was cooked perfectly and Mr Samurai has incredinly friendly staff.

My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant driving around St. Charles looking for lunch. It was the only sushi place open! We are glad it worked out that way because we loved the quality of their sushi! We will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve tried a lot of sushi in the area and so far nothing beats Mr. Samurai. It has great food and a great family running the place. Order the Charlimaki roll or the Samurai 2 roll and you won’t be disappointed!

The rolls are to notch here. Will definitely return to this restaurant. From outside, this place doesn't look like much. Inside the restaurant is clean. Everyone here is welcoming and like to engage in small talks. Spicy tuna roll is excellent. Miso soup is flavorful. Hot green tea is a bit watered down for me though, I like mine stronger. Overall, an excellent sushi restaurant, if it would be closer to home, I'd be eating there daily.

My boyfriend & I went there for a lunch date today. I ordered water to drink, as I normally do. The water tastes disgusting. They don't have fountain drinks, just Coke products in cans. The sushi tasted gross. Whatever my boyfriend had there was cream cheese in it & that's all he tasted. The "fresh" fish was gross, he almost started choking on it. Somehow even my California rolls weren't even good. As my boyfriend had more fish than I did, his stomach is a bit upset. I will not suggest going here.

I don't ever leave bad reviews but I felt pretty disappointed at this place. Everything started pretty good suchi was good and over all the food was pretty good. What I really didn't like is that when the food came the steak tasted bad, not the way they prepared it but the actual meat wasn't good, this was my son's meal so I also tried it to make sure that it actually wasn't good. The waitress keept telling me we were wrong and that the meat wasn't bad, then she took the meat to the cook who also denied the meat was bad, we told them not to worry about it since they were not very willing to help with the situation so Ijustt asked my son to not eat the meat and just eat the rest of the food. Then when my food came they only gave me fried rice when I had ordered shrimp fried rice, and when I asked the waitress about the shrimp she said that she could not give me shrimp because I ordered veggie fried rice ?. I again told her not to worry about it because I didn't want to have to argue with her again, but when we got the bill I noticed that they had actually changed me for the Shrimp fried rice. I really just wanted to leave so I didn't tell her anything about that but I will not be coming back to this place.?
