St. Charles, IL location. Restaurant was filthy. Tables had not been cleaned, garbage was full, and the floor was trashed. Customer service was disappointing. Not at all friendly.

Noodles and Company was our next stop as we eat our way through main Street in Saint Charles. Most notable was the friendly gentleman who took our order. He was super pleasant and very accommodating when we requested to share a meal. We had an order of Japanese Pan Noodles which was shared and a regular order of Leanguini Rosa. The Leanguini Rosa was delicious, lower in calories, and served steaming hot. The Japanese Pan Noodles got a mixed review. This was one regular serving, which was split for two people. One had a steaming hot bowl and the other bowl was oddly cool. In addition, one person enjoyed the taste of the dish (the hot noodles) and the other did not even finish the meal, not liking the flavors of the dish. The restaurant did not appear to be well maintained throughout the day, the flooring needed to be swept, and the tables could've used a good wipe down. Lastly, I know it's good for the environment but personally, the paper straws are annoying. Perhaps offering both plastic and paper would be a better option. This is also pretty much a self-serve restaurant and they requested a tip if you used a credit card. Our thoughts, Noodles and Company should pay their staff an appropriate wage and not ask for tips at a self-service restaurant. The price was very reasonable, but we had a mixed review as to whether we would return. Noodles and Company has some tough competition with the surrounding restaurants.

It was my first time at N&C. The service was fine, and the environment was good. However, I had ordered take-out for the Wisconsin Mac & cheese, and the 3 Cheese Tortellini Rosa, and when I brought them home and began to eat, the Macaroni and Cheese was practically bone-dry, with the sauce(scarcely) pooled at the bottom, and loads of melted cheese on the top. As well, I had gotten my Rosa fine, but the combination of flavors gave me more or so of a peppery aftertaste, same with the Macaroni and Cheese. I'm sure everyone has a different first experience, but it is unfortunate that mine was not what I was hoping for.

Asked for extra steak and they gave me tofu. Disgusting.

Won't go back again. The place was absolutely filthy. No clean tables, trash all over the floor and trash can overflowing. Drink area was a mess. And for heaven sake, if you are cooking or working around food and have long hair, it should be tied up.

They have changed menu to cater Italian food. I ordered spicy Korean beef and it was spaghetti cooked with plain beef and sweet sauce. Horrible experience.

I am incredibly disappointed by this location. My family and I went there last night for dinner. There were FIVE people working. The environment was filthy, noodles and trash and crumbs all over the floor... trash overflowing in the can... the kids and straws for the cups by the soda machine were strewn all over the counter, the tables had used plates and silverware on the tables. My husband's food was cold and he was not given nearly enough tortellini for the regular size that he ordered. No one was in the restaurant eating, so it wasn't super busy at all... no reason the restaurant should have been as disheveled as it was. In addition, and no judgment, but some of the employees had long hair that would not have been contained by a hat... some were just standing around on their phone. We will NOT be going to this restaurant again, or ordering from there for that matter. Disgusting.
