First time here . Ordered ahead for pickup. The chips and salsa were very good. Taco and cheese enchiladas with rice and beans . Very good . The only thing missing was a margarita and you can't get those to go.. Highly recommend The Jalapeno Grille.

We ordered from here thru Yelp and were somewhat disappointed. The service was very disjointed upon arrival. The pickup window directed us to the cashier, but the cashier directed us to the pickup window. This was frustrating as each time we had to wait our turn. We ordered 2 kid meals and 2 fajita flares with chips and guacamole. The kids meals apparently came with a drink, but when ordering was never asked what we wanted in the app. So the staff handed us 2 Pepsis (our kids are 4 & 2, so this was not a drink we would have chose). The price was higher than other Mexican places we've been to, with smaller portions. For example, the fajitas they gave us enough shells for maybe 8 tacos, but only enough meat for 3. Usually when ordering fajitas we've always had more than enough leftover, but not in this instance. Overall, I don't think we'll likely return since there are other options.

My favorite Mexican restaurant! I've been coming here since I was a child. They have the best chips and salsa in town. I've also recently tried their fish taco and it does not disappoint. I can't wait to come back.

I don’t leave reviews often, this place is special. The food is out of this world good, the people working there are so friendly, if you come this way, this is the place to go. My wife and I have come to Illinois twice in the last 2 years, this is the best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to.

This is hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had. We are from Kansas and have been to many different Mexican restaurants. NOTHING compares to how delicious the food is here. The staff was so kind and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. Will always come back here whenever we are in town!
