“A guest of my family in membership at this club.A joy to dine close to my home away from home.We enjoyed a wonderful perfect portion fish fry.We enjoyed watching your beautiful TV screens.We loved the popcorn machine and butter, too!We loved the atmosphere warm and inviting.We agree come early to avoid the lines at 4:30pm.We ate all of our suppers as we came hungry.We enjoyed the prices and our beverages, too. On a side note to maybe just the women as these sometimes are the little things men miss...Both the men's and women's restrooms clean.The decor at the entrance and through out lovely.Atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood here.Especially noticed how helpful and attentive the females, usually volunteers in clubs, were. It is admirable to see that type of support and care of guests and fellow members among any team.In the future will try harder not to linger at the self-serve table for condiments. “We stopped in for Tenderloin Tuesday after hearing about this place in one of the pork tenderloin groups. I have to say it was delicious! I got a half sandwich, while the men with me got the full. It was crispy, crunchy and extremely flavorful. I like mine with lettuce and mayo, which they happily made that way. It was empty when we got there at 11:15 but by noon, the whole place was packed. Would definitely recommend stopping in if you're ever in the area!“
“This bar is my favorite bar the bartenders and service are nice, I really like the food and my mom works here and I'm friends with some of the locals there, overall it's a good place. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.Kid-friendliness: They don't allow kids since its a bar but they only allow me and my sister cause my mom works there but they do have bouncy house for Halloween and my friend came here with me to trunk or treat.“
“Our bartender Tori was exceptional she not only kept up with the 5 of us but the other 3 peeps down at the end of the bar, we closed it out man great time, dumped 20$ in the juke box and it made it til we left, excellent patio to smoke on in the back chill environment too“
“Food is far above expectation for Ogle Co. Dining . Service is fabulous. Downfall is that we have never eaten here and not had super wasted obnoxious beer drinking idiots playing pool. Seems like a bad business plan to drive away people spending lots of money on food for a bunch of people that drive customers away. The pool table is inconveniently placed by the front door so you have to walk awkwardly around a crowd of inebriated fools to get to your table. Every time we have come here people just get up and leave due to the rowdy folks blocking the front door and the access to the gaming machines. That being said. The food and the service (truly a rare find in these parts) outweigh the cons for our family.Kid-friendliness: I would not recommend bringing small children here. At all. My kids are big boys and not sheltered. Normal children would not fare well in this environment.“
“For a small town bar, this place is pretty cool. They have a huge bar, gaming room (of course), plenty of seating, and a gated concrete slab for outdoor seating, music, and a game of bags! Plus, the staff was cool as hell. Can you ask for more than that?“
“Grant Park Tavern is open once again, after being closed for a few months after the previous owner passed away. It has pretty much the same patrons, friendly staff and decent food. Generally speaking, it's a nice blue collar joint where you can sit down among everyday people and be accepted.“
“Great place to stop. Friendly staff by herself on a Sunday afternoon, but not too busy. They had a busy weekend and were out of some of the items. We ordered thin crust pizza which was good and the Buffalo fried cauliflower was nice and hot.We will be back to try some of the other items that were not available.“
