This was my first time hereand as I walked in there was no sign to wait to be seated. I placed my order took off my jacket and sat down. I wasn't asked if dine in or carry out and received my food to go. Pulled out my food from bag and realized no napkins. I had tacos of carne asada it was good, but to much nervio. No garbage cans I literally walked out with my garbage. No I don't recommend this place I paid for my food it wasn't given to me.

Just not good at all. Small with only tiny bits of meat scraps. Makes you happy that there are not more of the meat scraps but when you get done you realize you came here to eat something.

I used to live in Downer’s Grove, Illinois back in the 80’s. Before I left Chicago I was introduced to El Famous Burrito’s. We would go to El Famous no less than 3 times a week. I had never had a bad experience. The burritos are always fresh and awesome, the best burritos I have ever had! When I moved out of state and for the next 30 years I have been on the hunt for any comparable burrito, to no avail. Over the years I had friends that lived in Chicago areas that would send us the burritos about 6-8 times a year. Now that they have all moved out of Chicago over the years, there was no opportunity to obtain the burritos. Before Christmas my Wife & I were tired of Turkey, Ham, etc. and wanted something different for Christmas Dinner. My wife kept telling me to call El Famous directly to see if we could get them to ship. I did so and got in touch with Isabel at the Summit location. Isabel is amazing and worked with us to get us the burritos, as she had never done a shipment before. We ordered 30 burritos and Isabel was able to send them and all the fixings and sauces to us which arrived the Saturday before Christmas. We have shared these with our friends and family, and they have all agreed that they are the best burritos they have ever tasted. Our friends have now put orders in for when we do order again. We are getting ready to order another batch of Burrito’s. Best Burritos in the Nation and best Service beyond what I could imagine. Thank you, Isabel!

Came here for lunch as I had seen some great Marketing through social media and wanted to give it a try. The place is nicely remodeled and great seating space available. The service was good as I felt taken care of. I was a little disappointed with the steak tacos as the meat right away you can tell is not quality and the tortilla was very greasy. I also ordered the Tripitas tacos and those were ok but not a big fan like it states on social media. My son got a quesadilla he liked it. The guacamole and Chips were the better of what we ordered. Probably not my Mexican food please of choice.
