Everything was absolutely amazing. I have been to Italy numerous time and Maria’s food does not disappoint. Nicole our main waitress/server was super polite and friendly with every interaction. Atmosphere from this little gem was perfect down to the gentleman playing live music. Will definitely return.

The atmosphere reminds you of family dinners at the dinner table without technology. It is comfy an the staff are nice an friendly. There was a nice young lady whom was the waitress very well mannered and answered all of our questions regarding the meal. They have pictures of family near the entrance and you can tell they have family values. It's a great place for families, date night or just to hang out an chat. 10 out 10.

I absolutely love this place. I love the atmosphere. I love the people. The food is amazing. It kind of reminds you of a little place in Italy that you would actually be eating food and what really tops it off is the live music in the background. The portions are absolutely filling overfilling The bread with rosemary oil and butter topped off with a little bit of Parmesan absolutely amazing!

Had dinner here on Saturday. Service was good and so was the food. They were out of Peroni beer which was a shame, but had 3 other choices.Though we enjoyed the food and service, the prices were a little on the high side. Two drinks, an appetizer and main dish for each of us was.$70 before tax/Tip.Again, quality was good. Just would have liked a "little more" for that amount.

I am honestly one of “those people” who had to google how to make a google review just so I could give a “5 Star” review to this quaint restaurant in Sycamore, IL. We stayed at the Best Western and first chose the restaurant, out of convenience, because it is right next door. Then when we opened the door, to Maria’s, it was no longer about convenience! From the music of Zachary to the welcome of our server Nicole, we were confident that the food would be amazing…and it was! It’s a simple menu that offers Italian deliciousness beyond simplicity! The favorite so far is the Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp. We are now planning a second dinner, to sample the rest of the menu, that will include dessert!

We love getting Maria’s for take out usually, but tonight we dined in and had a great experience. Food was incredible as always & love the comforting atmosphere of the restaurant itself! Highly recommend Maria’s.

Italian food is the cheapest to make. Lots of money for sauce and peppers. The bread and olive oil are nice, though.

Was really hoping to like this place. Service was super slow. Waited 25 minutes to get our orders in and another 30 for the salads to come out after asking one of the servers if they were coming. Ended up being there for about 2 hours and food was nothing special and slightly cold. Was given practically no service other than the server taking our order and dropping off the food 2 hours later. After dropping off the food we no longer saw them till we were done. Multiple tables around us were sitting down and not getting any service for over 20 minutes. Seemed as the servers were more worried about cleaning off tables then greeting new tables or taking care of the ones who have been waiting. We paid about $70 with tip for 2 pastas and it really wasn’t worth it. Might try again and update the review if need be but as of right now don’t feel the need to go back
