Man, food is good but nothing is cheap. $4.50 for a Taco and $12 for a burrito make it a rare return visit. Good food

Man look here El Famous Burrito goes super crazy!!! Listen I got a steak burrito from here and a chicken Diablo burrito from here. The steak wasn't for me but that chicken burrito was all world. The chicken burrito was spicy with this hot sauce on it and it was super delicious. It's very rarely that I would give a burrito such high ratings but the El Famous Burrito is on a whole different planet. The customer service was on point and the staff were real friendly. The wait time wasn't super long and they gave you exactly what you ordered so they got the order right. When I got home I was mad I didn't order two extra burritos. Now keep in mind when I placed my order for my burrito I generally don't get any lettuce or tomatoes or beans on the burrito and I get the sour cream always on the side. The reason for this is that when you reheat burritos the lettuce gets weird and the sour cream gets a little weird so I always get this stuff on the side. I can say this, if there was a best burrito contest in the Chicagoland area I can promise you that Diablo burrito from El Famous Burrito would be in the top five choices. My only issue with El Famous Burrito are the locations. I'm not campaigning for them to put one in the South Suburban area because this one is in Tinley Park but it wouldn't hurt to have one closer to I-57. In closing I'll say the El famous burrito and that's spicy Diablo burrito is everything. I'll be going back this week to grab two. Now the question is will I be sharing lol.Vegetarian options: I got chicken and steak so this menu didn't apply to me but it was available.Parking: The parking was smooth. In and Out!Kid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly, they have burgers and fries.

I’ve been going here for 15+ years and this place has just gone way downhill. Today my girlfriend picked up our order, and for the third time in a row there was a mistake. I’m allergic to beans, and for the third time in a row they weren’t substituted for rice like asked in the taco dinner. Now, mistakes happen and the last two times I’ve just brought it back in but I didn’t want to drive back there so I called and asked to talk to a manager. The phone lady said there’s no manager at the store, which is illegal to have 0 food safety managers while your restaurant is open, and I HAD to bring it back to get a new order or a refund. But any credit card company can adjust your payment on the company’s end, I’ve been managing restaurants for 8 years, I know this Absolutely disgraceful and I’ll never be going here again.

Higher than any other Mexican place around by at least 30%. 1 tostada was $5.85 and barely had any beans on it. Sour cream and avocado extra. Food was ok but nothing I’d pay that much more for. I’ll stick with El

All tortilla shell. Shells got larger since Covid so they can crumple up and take up more space on the inside, so they can put less of the lowest grade steak and scrapes in. The rest of the inside is all a salad, just lettuce fluffing up the inside. Can't believe they charge almost $12 for what was not even a taco pre Covid.

I rarely leave bad reviews but this place fell off. This used to be my favorite spot but it’s not the same. Steak isn’t even steak, it’s mushy and odd.. and for the price? Almost $16 for 1 “steak” burrito and 1 medium horchata? Definitely not worth it.
