On Tuesday, 2/27/24 at 5:30pm, I placed an $85 order for delivery, from the Jimmie Johns on 171st St. in Tinley Park, IL. I paid in cash with a $100 bill, received my change, tipped the driver and he left. He came back to my door to tell me his manager says he cannot take the $100 bill, and she said since I didn't have smaller bills they would need me to pack my food back up and they would take it back. The manager was female, and very rude. I could hear her on speaker phone with the driver. What an awkward situation, and just poor customer service.But...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? The order was $85!!!!!! Do you want 85 singles? And where does it say only certain bills are accepted????? You lost good customers. Adios!

Avoid this location or avoid ordering anything that has turkey in it. The amount of turkey they put on the sandwich is criminal. I’m talking one thin piece. Seems to be a reoccurring theme across multiple reviews.The operators of this location are the problem, not the staff. Always friendly and quick. Just following marching orders on skimping the customer.

Good is great at Jimmy Johns there is no denying that.However the service sucks here, not one hello. No eye contacts from the cashier, no words, just grunts.I'll never visit this one again.No wonder I never use this location and the app automatically set this one up. Fire them all closer the store and move somewhere the employees actually care about a job

I am a rewards member and order from this location often through the app. This was the first time I've gone in and ordered. I asked the cashier if i can do a beach club on a wrap. She said "yes of course"! I take my sandwich go home unwrap it and it's an un-wich (wrapped in lettuce). I call the store speak to a gentleman who says it was a misunderstanding we don't do any sandwiches on wraps other than summer wraps just come back in and we'll have a regular beach club made for you. I head back to the store expecting the sandwich to be made and no one knows what I am talking about. I go to the cashier she looks at another girl making the sandwiches and she says "nah we don't do that, we don't just give out free sandwiches". Then asks me if I brought the other sandwich back. "he told you to". The man on the phone never told me to bring the other sandwich back. I then ask is there a manager here? The whole team stays silent then the girl who was rude to me says "I'm the manager". I just left at that point. I provided feedback on the website and still haven't received a response. I will never be back to this location.

I placed an order on the app from this location. One sandwich, 45 minutes later I still didn’t have my food. I called the location they told me to wait another 10 minutes! I said ok np! 15 minutes after that, I look outside to make sure the driver is not outside before I call again, my cold cut sandwich was left outside my door in a 90 degree weather. I didn’t know how long it had sat outside so I called the store and told them what had happen, they said they will refund me, few minutes later, she calls me back and says the driver will come and pick up the sandwich, I said np I was throwing it away anyway. He comes back, I ask him if he was the one to deliver it, he said yes, so I asked him why would u leave a cold cut sandwich outside in this weather. He said that he rang the door bell, I was sitting on my couch waiting for him to come, he didn’t ring the door bell. And added that he is not required to call me on my phone, so he left it outside. Worst experience with jimmy johns I have had. Worst location! Jimmy johns always calls if the door bell is not answered for whatever reason. And this driver had the guts to lie to my face and say he delivered it 15 minutes after I ordered it! Never again from this location. Mistakes happen and I understand, but the way a business handles it when these mistakes happen is everything. Lying to my face and saying he brought it 15 minutes after I ordered it is not ok. When it was almost an hour later and everything is clear on the app.

Good Jimmy Johns location. Fast friendly service, and the place is always nice and clean. I always give "extra credit" when a restaurant is especially clean.

I ordered the #12 Beach Club, customized. I ordered extra turkey on my sandwich and their was no extra turkey on my sandwich. So I called the store and complained to them about it and said they put extra turkey on there and it was on camera. I took pictures of the sandwich and can anyone confirm if they think I had extra turkey on my sandwich?

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Nobody contacted me about where my food was then when I called, the manager was clueless how did the phone to the driver Sam who was very rude and condescending. They also left my cookie out the bag that I paid for. I will never be ordering from this place again.

Placed an order for delivery on a cold rainy night. Order took about 50 minutes to arrive. 1 sandwich and chips. Simple instruction on the ordering profile asks to ring doorbell when dropping off. That request is made because JJ's app is notoriously lagging in giving updates. No ring of the bell even though we tipped 15% upfront. Guess it's a lot to ask.

Lady was kind to me but said I had a free chip and pickle with my rewards. I said if it's free, give it to me. She then charged me for the pickle, and I saw on the receipt that it said free chip or pickle. The girl did not say or and even if she did I said if it's free then give it to me. I DONT EVEN EAT PICKLES. I WOULDVE GIVEN IT TO MY BF TO EAT. I called and told the staff of the issue and they asked me to hold, so I waited. She then came back and said the girl said or and I was like she did not and the girl on the phone was like uh uh uh. I said forget it. Have a nice day. BUTTTTT...while I was there waiting an obnoxiously long 10 minutes for my 2 sandwiches, this box sat on the counter out in the open. THERE ARE LAWS AT WHICH FOOD NEEDS TO BE KEPT AT A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE SO IT DOESNT GROW BACTERIA. THIS IS MY FRIENDS GROWING BACTERIA AFTER 10 MINUTES JUST SITTING THERE, IDK HOW LONG IT WAS LIKE THAT BEFORE I GOT THERE.....BUT PLEASE DO NOT GO ORDER THIS BREAD AND GET SICK! And please people, don't be naive. There is a safer way to defrost bread...

Clean place with great service. Even when it is crowed, the staff moves the line quickly. The clerks are always sure to ask for your rewards number and let you know if you have anything to redeem. The sandwiches are well prepared and the bread is always fresh.
