My last two encounters with nicks BBQ has been poor to say the least. One order was the Grecian rotisserie chicken that was way over cooked and completely dried out. My last order I thought I would try their Buffalo wings. Apparently they made the decision to only serve breaded wings but not indicate that on their menu. I am unable to eat breading nor would I have ordered them had that would have been properly indicated on their menu. When I called they did absolutely nothing. Food was bad and customer service was terrible.

I used to stop by only for Beef Ribs and I’m told by nicks that they no longer sell it. ? According to the person taking the call they claim it’s because “it’s to expensive” if that’s the case then raise the price on it and keep selling it. Very disappointing!!

What happened to this place?. Sat in the drive thru with another car in front of me waiting several minutes. Other car was honking, their passenger got out and went inside finally. I waited longer then pulled up to the window where a guy ignored me. Called on the phone was immediately put on hold. Absolutely terrible!

So, my 7 year old granddaughter loves the half slab ribs here. She gave me some one day, and the rest is history. Since, I had my son to order and now my husband! He told me it was very clean, good atmosphere and you could eat inside!

The ribs were fork off the bone and most likely baked but I didn't hate it! The sides were all horrible. Mac n cheese absolutely no flavor, baked beans not good either, corn on the cob nice texture but had to flavor myself.

Always consistent GOOD , Fresh real MEATY RIBS not just bones with sauce.
I ordered their store bought catfish I've had better tasting fish sticks. Even the tartar sauce is bland and bad. The Mac & cheese is just elbow noodles with mostly cheese sauce and the bbq baked beans are just beans soaked in bbq sauce. I'd never order from them again. Seems they want to keep their for quality and cost super low.

I like this place because it’s down the street from my house. It’s usually not busy through the drive thru which I normally use. I enjoy the Tamale Boat and the french fries and the drinks are always cold. Prices are nice and they always have specials going on. Now for the not so great.. I usually get the Gourmet burger and steak/chicken burrito and both just miss the mark. Even when I order everything on it with condiments there is just no taste too these two items. The steak burrito I had taste like I’m crunching plastic for the lettuce and the the tomatoes just seemed old. I had to put a ton of green sauce to enjoy it. Nice portions but the quality just isn’t the best Nicks food just lacks taste. I will try other items because there’s so much to try I figure I give them a chance. Nice people fast service so I don’t want to give up on them but I just had to make this review.

ANTS IN THE DINING ROOM! Switched tables after I killed 3 ants. Less than 15 seconds after sitting at new table, away from a window, there were more. They gave us no argument in refunding our purchase and when I told the cashier they need to spray for ants he said they have but they keep coming back! They wrapped our food to go but we lost our appetite. Bleh!!

We ordered the half barbecue chicken dinner and when we got home I went to go open the chicken dinner and the breast and wing were burnt to a crisp, the only thing that you could eat was the leg and thigh. The wing was burnt to the point of ashes and as were parts of the breast and the rest was as dry as a bone just like when they open the turkey in Christmas vacation with Chevy Chase... funny but not funny. I can't believe they actually packed that up in a food container and sent it out to a customer. It was really not worth calling them or bringing the dinner back because it would've taken us another 20 minutes and the rest of my family was eating already. Suffice to say we just won't be returning there, unfortunately. The person who took our order was extremely sweet. The Homer Glen location is good.

I hadn’t been there in about 10 years, kind of forgot they were there.Ordered a rib dinner. The ribs were actually good, but the sides were terrible. Worst French fries I think I ever had. They were cold, hard with no salt or flavor. The beans were ok, but not fresh. The macaroni was the same.I like good ribs, but you have to have at least decent French fries and they don’t.Won’t be going back
