“Long time Italian place with great food and personable servers. The pizza is amongst the best in the area and their other entrees are all excellent. One of C-U's "hidden gems."Parking: Small, free parking lot behind the building and some metered street parking close nearby.“
“Great food! Not as good as grandma's homemade alfredo but it is the best I've found in the area. I had the shrimp and seafood alfredo and it was better than most restaurants. The one flaw was the octopus was alittle over done, but for coming our of a truck this was great. I also brought some home to my family and after a 15min drive it was still warm and tasted great.“
“OK, I haven't been to Monicals in a while, however, the thin crust pizza was excellent. The thin crust sorta reminds you of the quick brick oven pizzas, thin, light and crispy...very good. The place was clean and our waitress was patient, nice and she took care of us. I went right after shopping nearby, when we arrived barely anyone inside, but, by the time we left, filling up quickly. I know it is a chain, but, definitely good pizza.“
“I was excited to visit the restaurant with my family when I was in town for the holiday. The last time I was there, I got the veggie pizza with goat cheese- and I decided to get this again on this visit. We arrived at 4:45 (and attempted to call for reservations that afternoon but the restaurant wasn’t open). Upon arrival, there were 3 staff members looking over the specials menu. No one greeted us or said anything to us. We had to ask them if we should talk to someone about being seated at the door or go upstairs- that was when someone decided to speak to us. We get upstairs for a table for 3 and when asked if we had a reservation, the answer was no and the staff member acted like we were an inconvenience with no reservation. Note- we were the only people up there. Our server was short with us and must have been having a rough day. We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 chocolate martinis and the butternut squash ravioli- all were good but the martinis were lacking. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing and upscale. Food was good but based on the service and attitude of the staff, I don’t think they will be my first choice the next time I am in town.“
“The food is always delicious. Sometimes, things are a little bit spicy in ways I'm not expecting, but they are always able to adapt a dish to be less spicy if I ask. The service is good. Sometimes, it's hard to find your server if you happen to need something, but even with a party of 10, our water glasses were always full (which shows that the waiter stopped by regularly). I'm still not sure about the remodel. I liked the quiet coziness of the prior decor, but it's growing on me. The only complaint I can offer is that one cannot get a small side salad. It would be really nice to be able to add some leafy greens without getting a meal sized salad.“

“The best part about this place was breezily the atmosphere. Felt as though it had been pulled out of a small local pizza place in Chicago. The fire pizza was ??. We also got some of the San Pelegríno and gelato and tasted very authentic. They import all of their ingredients to make it as authentic as possible. Great little hole in the wall restraunts would recommend.“
“After my original review, where my food was made incorrectly and I was not given the opportunity to have it remade or refunded, the owner reached out to me and helped to rectify the situation. While I wish the issue never happened at all the owners fast response and respectfulness made up for the poor experience. I will be giving the business a second chance.“
“came here with my boyfriend for valentine's day and had the best service from our server. he was so attentive and made an effort to connect with us. we've been coming here on valentine's for the last few years and this year nando's really went above and beyond! the whole restaurant was decorated with balloons and every table had a single rose and candle. 10/10 mood setting. food & drinks were also amazing. highly recommend!“
“I'm Italian-American, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, so I'm very picky about restaurant Italian food. Rosati's makes some good food. I enjoyed their calzone and the meatball sub. The meatballs surprised me, being quite tasty. Also had the pistachio cannoli. Excellent. I'd have any of these items again. What disappointed me was the zeppole. Nothing like the zeppole I carried around in a brown paper bag at the San Gennaro Feasts in Little Italy. Half of them were much too chewy, displeasingly chewy. The other half were hollow. Squeeze them and your finger made a hole into it with nothing there. Oh, there were plenty of them which excited me -- until I tried eating them. Sadly, most were trashed.Also off-putting was the $6.00 delivery charge.“
“Shot some games for a couple hours with a friend. While enjoying some beers and pizza. Solid food selections and chill environment to burn some time. Pizza is thin and crispy, with a nice crunch. Prices can be a bit steep, especially for booze or draft beer, but that is everywhere now practically.“
