This Monical's is timeless! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Monical's sauce is great and any pizza you choose will be eaten till you're stuffed. We always get the Monical's salad dressing as well.

Our dinner was somewhat chaotic with 9 adults and a child. A group of 20 and a group of 25 came to the restaurant @ the same time. Our waitress was also in training so the orders had some mistakes but the manager got us extra food for no additional charge.

Very inconsistent on the pizza, sometimes it’s perfect! Sometimes it’s giving frozen pizza with no sauce tho. Nice people and good service and atmosphere tho, just the pizza is very hit or miss and can use some

Unfortunately, the breadsticks and the monkey bread were uncooked and still doughy. The pizza was good and the waitress was friendly, but the lack of customers was not quick with refills at all. I have a hard time recommending it, and the restaurant has potential, which is sad.

This is the absolute BEST Monical's EVER!!! Best bread sticks hands down! What makes it most special is the service! But to be honest Dawn (server) is why we keep going back every Friday! She is kind, caring, funny, and really makes our visits amazing!!! Thank you Dawn!!!!!

Great place to get a meal. Stopped in and had a 8” personal pizza. I ordered hamburger, onions and green olives on it, with a garden salad. Very filling for a reasonable price. Sweet tea was delicious. Good place to eat. Service was, ok. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, so they weren’t quite as attentive as they probably are at a meal time. Good experience here!
I just went to the Monicals restaurant in Saint Joseph, Illinois, today for a take out family pleaser dinner. The restaurant appeared to be relatively taken care of. And, the parking lot was about 2/3 full. I went inside and placed an order for a sausage, mushroom and pepperoni large pizza. The restaurant staff were polite and took my order very quick. 25 minutes later I went inside and the order was waiting for me. A short drive home and I shared the dinner with my wife. The salad was OK but it was not fresh. Like you’ve been sitting in the refrigerator for two days prior. You know what I mean, the cheese and turned soft and gooey atop the lettuce. It was edible but only barely. I removed the tinfoil from the pizza and it appeared to be a good pizza. But, after I ate the first small square from the edge, it tasted like warm soggy cardboard. The sauce was tasteless. I tried another piece and it was the same, bad! My wife and I ate the rest of the salad because we were hungry. But, the rest of the pizza was left out for the hogs to eat in the morning ( step son farms hogs just done the road). I remember eating Monical’s years ago. It was delicious then. SLOP NOW? No more!

The service was not good (teenage boys). Food took 45 mins to come out for a table of two and only one other group in the restaurant. The two boys working were talking out loud in the dinning room area about how they don’t like their job and will be putting their two weeks notice
