Nice place to have a good time

Our family lives 45 miles away from Tuscola. We have visited this place once a summer for the last ten years. We went last week for lunch and ordered 3 shakes, a BLT sandwich (no sides), a bowl of chili, a burger (no sides), a tuna salad sandwich with fries, and a side salad. One of our children ordered the marshmallow milkshake and it was basically inedible. It was literally a cup filled with marshmallow taffy with a bit of vanilla ice cream added. Why do they even offer that? Our bill was $82 without tip. The receipt is not itemized so it makes it difficult to dispute. We understand inflation but we won’t return for mediocre food at those prices.

Enjoyed the lunch special of lasagna, salad and bread stick. Excellent. Had a big piece of carrot cake. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

We were in town for a family get together. I called ahead to let them know how many would be coming and when we arrived that had a table set up for us. The service was awesome, the food was great and there was no issues. They made the experience great. They also sell candy and we had a few family members take advantage of that as well. They had a number of customers and we could still visit due to the great set up they have. We will plan on coming back on our next visit to the area.

This is in downtown Tuscola and inside has old time look and feel. The cash register area has a cage around it that looks like old time teller spot. Older showcases full of a variety of candies and treats. Breakfast menu has a variety of foods. Omelets, French toast, Biscuits and gravy, eggs, and more. Friendly wait staff. Would recommend a stop here. They also have good milk shakes. Lunch and desserts

My sisters and I took a long weekend vacation to the area. I think Flesor's is our favorite restaurant of the weekend. We actually tried to go twice but didn't know they quit serving lunch at 3:00. The food is wonderful and so is the atmosphere. Make sure you leave room for dessert. They have lots of flavors of home made ice cream. There is also a wonderful candy counter. Stop and choose some to take home. The building is a step back in time. It's all nicely refurbished and comfortable. My sister bought a book written by one of the Greek sisters who own the restaurant. It's an interesting read! After we finished we were in a small crowd hanging around outside. One of the sisters came outside and thanked us all for coming. She apologized that she had been so busy she hadn't made it to all of our table. Now that is customer service! We live more than two hours away but we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped to pick up some candy and a to go order for the road. This was our first visit and we were so taken back in time. It is very cute from the soda fountain area, candy counter, and the dining area with the book shelfs. My wife had a reuben and I had the half ham and cheese with a great sausage chicken soup. All food was delicious. We wish we had the time to stay and eat there but will next time we are near. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I did get some coffee chocolate that was also awesome. What a great find. Tom

Went here for lunch one Saturday. The whole place is all old time feeling. The food is pretty good and the burgers are messy (in a good way)! The ice cream from the ice cream bar is super creamy and tastes spectacular. The chocolate from the candy shop are some of the best chocolates I’ve ever tasted! This is definitely a place to go to if your stopping by Tuscola or travel anywhere near the area.

Loved the atmosphere. Old building with soda fountain and high ceilings. Good was not good. Hamburger was dry and overcooked . Reuben sandwich had one piece of corn beef on it. Bought candy on way out. Now that was excellent.

Had been here before and wanted to stop in again as we were traveling through. We ordered the turkey bacon club with potato salad and the reuben with sweet potato fries. Everything was so yummy. Hubby really liked the club and said the potato salad was so good. The corned beef on my reuben was so tender and flavorful. Instead of the traditional sauerkraut, there was pickled red cabbage. I loved it. And the fries were cooked to perfection in my book. Once again, we were not disappointed. And you can't leave without a few of their homemade chocolates. Or divinity. Or caramel apples...

The store was nice and clean and the owner was very nice. We purchased some creams and they were delicious. I guess I was just expecting more of a candy selection.
