Check you bill carefully at the end - they billed us for food we never got.Went here tonight as part of a group of 7 and was thoroughly disappointed. The added 18% gratuity was listed at the bottom of the menu, which we were alright with, but the unlisted rule of every single person in a party must order an entree we were not. From some party member's past experience, their portions of K BBQ are large enough to share and we were going to try and save some money (bc we're all eating on a student budget) that way, but apparently that's not an option. We were ordering al la carte, not the all you can eat portion. We ended up making it work with added appetizers but that doesn't excuse the way that one of the workers (possibly the owner) came out of the back and started very forcibly enforcing this rule that was not listed anywhere. This interaction left us all very unsettled. For the food we actually received, it was okay. Entrees are listed on their menu as coming with an assortment of side dishes (salad, soup, and rice). We had also requested extra rice upon ordering as well. We received none and yet were still billed for the extra. Upon explaining the error to our main waiter, he was quick to remove the charge for the extra rice we never received but explained that "there was no way" to bill the separate items of the entree bundle, I guess, separately. In the end we let it go, but after a bit of time, I feel that comping us one of our orders of 6 potstickers would've been fairer ($6 for 3 bowls of rice we technically paid for in an entree seems fair enough). But yeah. Not a great experience.

Small under the radar Korean BBQ. There are probably about 10 grills in the place. There is not a tremendous amount of atmosphere, but I guess the atmosphere comes from grilling. The food and meat were all very good. Kimchi pancakes were huge. The meat grilling entrees come with a lot of meat and can be split by 2 people who do not have huge appetites. Lots of metered parking nearby but free after 5 pm on weekdays.

All you can choices. Have to complete finish preset combo before you can order other meat. The initial comb is not good and taste is just okay.

Watch out!! They charge 18% service fee even for 1 person. I ordered a take out. Still they charged 18% gratuity. If they want to really mint money, just increase the listed price on the menu. Rip off at the end!

Everything about this place is great! The veggie pancake is amazing. My favorite dish from here is the pork kimchi. It’s a small little place and the service is always great. Their menu is huge so I’m sure you’ll find something perfect for you. I’ll be back to try their bbq one day!

Staff always have a bad attitude and do not care about customers at all. Yet, they still charge 18% service charge with very little service. To be fair, the food is decent but their service and attitude towards customers is probably the worst in Urbana-Champaign. Will NOT recommend to anyone to come to this restaurant. There are better Korean restaurants around the area than this one.

Bad quality beef and spam, the worst service in this area, customer just wanted an extra bowl for sharing and had to ask several times before the owner reluctantly gave one, tossing it onto the customer's table. This kind of attitude, coupled with a high mandatory service charge, is very unfair.
Food was excellent. We tried the hot pot with chicken thighs and pork dumplings. It was a unique experience. Taste was good and the server was very friendly.
