“I walked into The Braided Bakery yesterday and ordered 20 random items and also cleared out most of their drinks from the cooler. They were so friendly and kind! I've done this before to some other little shops and they have seemed aggravated I bought so much. Not The Braided Bakery! Everything was absolutely delicious and the folks who I bought it for just raved about it! Thank you so much for being so kind and also making such delicious food!”

“Ordered a veggie pizza and a salad. 4-cheese, mushroom, onion and dark olives. Not black olives, but dark Greek type olives. Pizza was Great. Only one size but enough for 2 people. The salads are made ahead of time, found in a care, but taste very fresh. Only an oil dressing is offered, but it was wonderful. We dipped the crust of the pizza in the extra oil dressing, yummy. Had the lemonade - delicious!”

“Went yesterday for the first time. WOW, is all I can say. Walked in after lunch rush and the place looked great. No dirty tables or dirty floors. We were greeted at the counter immediately and after a few questions made our order. The food is amazing. We got a good selection of things to try and I couldn't find a negative thing to say about any of it. Meat was juicy and flavorful. The sides were delicious. The sauces were phenomenal (ended up buying two bottles to take home) and the gooey butter cheesecake is out of this world. Customer service is some of the best I've ever had. Everybody was friendly and informative as well as generous with portions. To say we'll be back is an understatement. We have our new place for BBQ and the bar is set extremely high!Prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you receive. To be fair, I didn't care about the prices after I tasted their food. They could charge more and I'd still leave happy.”

“Yes!!! I am very choosy when it comes to pizza.. I drive from Collinsville to Waterloo because it is simply the best pizza in the entire metro area. The "Queenie" is the best! I love the basil and the olive oil, so cheesy!! They use fresh,.quality ingredients and they make the pies right in front of you. I had the best pizza in Florence, Italy. This wood fired pizza is as close as.it gets and tastes quite similar! I highly recommend their Farmers Salad. I would like to keep it a secret but good pizza is hard to find. It is well worth the drive.”

“The food here is good. My kids love coming here so they can eat all they want. You only pay for what you don't eat essentially. It's a really fun way to order and eat sushi. The service is good and I've never had an issue. Everyone here is friendly and you get served with a good pace of food coming to your table. The atmosphere is very relaxed. This isn't a place I would consider for a "fancy" or "impress the girl/guy" date night, but it's a great place to eat nonetheless. I enjoy coming here and will continue to come back.”

The true nature of this establishment has been wonderfully preserved. Cash only, which only enhances the feeling of time travel. Service is nice and laid back. “This is THE best coffee shop in what I'd say is the whole Jefferson County area. I drive 20 minutes down south sometimes just to get their coffee. The service and product is exceptional and I just love this place! I'd rate it higher if I could!”
