The food here is very good but the service not so much. We watched our food waiting to be picked up by the waiter for 20 minutes and getting to us not in the freshest state. The waiter frequently forgot our orders and either brought us the wrong orders or cold orders. I had to ask him for a drink menu and made several drink orders that the waiter did not bring and had to be reminded. The restaurant was very busy with lots of people we had to wait for a while to get a table as we were told that reservations were not accepted for less then 6 people though we saw people come up and say they had reservations and there were less than six. Once we were finally seated, the service sadly did not match the ambience. The members of my party were so incensed that they refused to tip the waiter. We decided to make the tip match the quality of service we received. This is of course too bad as I have enjoyed coming to this restaurant and the quality of service and food that I received for many years at this restaurant. We've been coming here since it opened at this location and its previous location on Milwaukee. Maybe the management changed, don't know but it needs to improve a lot. As far as the food quality it is still good but to be honest there's a lot more competitors now in this genre, all around this area that offers a better class of food and service for the same price.

We were at the bar enjoying our drinks while we waited for our table. Everything was great until we heard the bartender start arguing with a customer it was super rude and unprofessional, it killed our nite. We’ll come back but we’ll be avoiding sitting at the bar.

Everything is terrible!!!! I am totally disappointed in this place. I made a reservation by phone. When we got there we waited half an hour. When the waitress came to take the order she was rude and rushed. When I brought the drinks I asked if I couldn't give them ice water and they just didn't answer. It took me more than 20 minutes to take her, when I reminded her again about my ice water, she very upset replied "you can't wait, I'm very busy" it was in a very rude way. The food was average, nothing spectacular. but the service is extremely BAD! They still charge you the tip, it is not optional, it is what they think is okay. The bad service is because they have already earned the tip. I will never return to this restaurant. It's very bad and looks very dirty. No client should be treated this badly.

I am always completely impressed with Tsubasa every time I eat there. The food is fantastic, the chefs are phenomenal, and I always have plenty left over for breakfast the next day. It is on the pricey side which is why we only go there on special occasions, but it is so worth it. Highly recommended, so if you can go there, go. I would go to the Vernon Hills, IL one if you have a choice because the atmosphere is better there.Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarians as well.Parking: They have a rather large parking lot with handicap parking as well. There is overflow parking in the surrounding store areas as well.Kid-friendliness: They like to include the kids in their show and make them feel welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking and all tables are wheelchair accessible.

Huge disappointment. The food is mediucre at best. The steak arrived cold, and we asked to replace it. The server took the plate and returned it after microwaving the entire plate. It was the worst service I ever saw, they set us on the closed side patio, and we had to look for our waitress each time we needed anything.
