Even though I live in New York, I visit at least twice a year to visit my parents who live right outside of Villa Grove. Along with our usual order of the Family Pleaser the first night or two I am home, I usually stop by to pick up a deep dish for myself. This past week I decided to treat my mom to lunch. It had been years since eating at the restaurant and it was just as good as I remember from the outstanding service to the food.

Where to begin? Today decided to dine in as last time we had delivery we were delivered under cooked, still pink chicken sandwiches. I always check my food after food poisoning 3 times from here. But today's dine in. The very attitude filled goth waitress didn't like we didn't want her chosen booth at the window so scooped up the straws and threw them at us on her way by. My unsweetened tea was sweet, we got our pizza to go to open and find no beef and a insane amount of spices tossed in the middle. Will not be returning as a customer.

The wings are to die for! Deep fried. The appetizers and pizza were perfect. Very fast and very friendly. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had a fun gumball machine in the waiting area. All the kids enjoyed it!Parking: Aple parking.

Got the meatball sub and it was good. Very filling. They were out of cherry coke and Pibb extra. The place was kind of dirty. Looked like no one had swept the floor and the bathroom was dirty with a full trash can. Wait staff was adequate. Had to get my own soda refill. I like their pizza a lot and order it for takeout. Not sure I would dine in again.Kid-friendliness: You could bring your kids there to eat but then you have to hang out with your kids for 45 minutes. And is it really worth that?Parking: Good sized parking lot.
