I recently went to pick up my husband's cake, when they gave it to me it was NOT what I had ordered at the time was just the decorating that was wrong. I was told to wait 10min which in reality wait time for a manager was 30 min. When I spoke to manager he said 5 minutes it'll be ready because I have to redecorate it so I said ok, that was an additional 20 minutes. When they gave it to me she said you still have a balance because it's strawberry and pecan I said ok because I was under the assumption it was right now. When I take out the cake the side was all falling apart. When he cut his cake I told him cut both ends so you can decide what flavor to get, he said it's strawberry both sides... So I paid more because it was a specialty cake but it wasn't. Very poor customer service. Never again getting anything from there! I gave them a second chance already not giving a third!.

Well today i picked up the cake myself personally and yet again the cake was wrong. I asked to speak with her and she got very confrontational and behaved like a complete b***** NEVER WILL WE ORDER CAKES FROM HERE! We buy at least 10cakes a year and more for big events and NEVER will we order from here. Her behavior and approach is completely unprofessional and for that reason i feel comfortable calling her what she is and thats a B*****

today, november 24, 2018, the bakery had their french bread advertised for $1.50. well, true to form, they were out of that bread by 2:00 p.m. every saturday for the last few years i purchase their french bread, and half of the time they run out before noon; is this planned or just poor management? they had plenty of the $2.29 bread. i asked for the $1.50 price and no one understood my english. i was not offered a rain check. today was my last visit to this bakery. .this also a bad reflection on villa park fruit market.

A nice place to shop . Staff is friendly . But , as you approach the meat counter showcase there's a horrific smell . Needs to be sanitized and cleaned . Smells like spoiled meat .
