This place was recommended by a friend, maybe not anymore, so my expectations were high. Walked into the restaurant and the place was empty. The staff was friendly put the guy was being trained how to cut gyro meat. I got my gyro and the meat was shaved paper thin!! Like I was only getting the char and no meat. I paid $20 for some char gyro without meat. The fries were great

Let me tell you about the best gyro I've ever had in my entire life. It happened right here at Gyro express. Gyros and Chicago style hot dogs are my favorite food and I thought I'd had the best until I walked into Gyros Express. The meat was tender, the fries were fantastic....the gyro sauce was off the charts. My job put a satellite store in this area and I was going to quit but because I found this place, I'm going to continue working here just so I can come for lunch every few weeks to Gyros Express. Yes....its THAT good and the restaurant was clean and the staff was SUPER personable and friendly. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Ordered the Greek Chicken with oven potatoes by calling it in. Fast and delicious, generous portion. First tried to order pickup on line thru the app but very confusing. Picture showed rice and required that I order an extra side of fries that I didn't want. Best Greek fast food anywhere! Been going there for years and hope to continue for many more.
First of all, I’ve been coming here since a little girl, and their food has always been delicious. I catered from them this Christmas Eve, and there was a mix up on the bill. I was accidentally overcharged. I called the day after Christmas, and they refunded me the amount overcharged, immediately. The owner was so apologetic and sweet. Will cater from them again. If you like homemade Greek food like yia-yia used to make, this is your place!

I ordered the avgolemono soup, and received a very salty broth with a very tiny amount of rice. The flavor and texture isn't even close to avgolemono. First time customer, very unlikely to go back.
