My neighbor brought me packzis yesterday and they are the best I've had in years. I grew up in a Polish neighborhood in Chicago. These were just like from the Polish bakeries 60 yrs ago. This is the place for packzis.

I was in the Villa Park area and decided to use Yelp to find a bakery in the area. I came across Kuppie's Bakery and decided to drive there. I was warmly greeted by a lady working at the counter. I asked for a dozen donuts and picked which donuts I wanted. I waited until I got home to try a chocolate donut. This was one of the best donuts I've ever had. My wife and son also agreed on how delicious they were. I will definitely go back.

First heard about Kuppie's from the older ladies at the pool. Lots of them raved about the donuts and coffee cake and I had to give them a try. It's an older bakery that has been a staple to the area for years. Some favorites are the donuts with fudge icing, focaccia, hot dogs, and coffee cake. Not a big fan of the koloches.
