The food was Great. Service was ExcellentNew Management has made a huge difference in the atmosphere and upgraded the food. It was a little slow but that should change as people realize it's a much better restaurant.Don't forget those delicious Taco Tuesday deals

No longer Montecasino. Now under new ownership. This is El Barrio III - and the food is good. Menu is very small compared to Montecasino and the margarita is disappointing.

Very tasty food. The manager came to the table to ensure we were being treated nicely. WE WERE and will be back. Lol love the atmosphere

Food is ok, (used to be better), prices higher but they are everywhere. And like most places these days, the service could be better if they had more than one server.

I’ve been to many Spanish restaurants but Montecasino is by far one of the best out there! I couldn’t ask for better Mexican food!

So I'll start off by saying from the outside this place doesn't really look like a Mexican Restaurant. But don't judge a book by its cover. Walked it and turned out to be a nice place. We started off with the margaritas and boy were they delicious. I ordered the Fiesta Fajitas. To best describe it, it's like a giant taco with melted cheese inside and stuffed with Steak and vegetables. It was very delicious! The steak was seasoned very well and it was very juicy! The side salad was a nice touch as well because you just have so much meat with your dish! Definitely will come back and try other items on the menu.

The succulent pork taco plate is delicious along with the very tasty black beans and rice. Not impressed with the margaritas though. They taste fine but I get more of a buzz with Tecate. Just get a beer with your food and you'll have a good meal.

Wanted to like the place for the atmosphere but the food was a huge disappointment. Steak fiestas was bland, rice and beans looked and tasted disgusting, chips was stale. Just subpar all the way around and my brothers food was much the same with bland chicken and a sad looking salad.

Good place to eat. Nice people. Good food. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were prepared well.

Been here several times and the food has always been on point. Met with some friends here recently and unfortunately will not be returning. Their prices are a little on the high end for dinner but we didn't mind paying for quality. The entire dining experience left something to be desired. The staff was unattentitive and despite there being only 1 other table at 8pm on a Saturday we were forgotten many times. Not to mention that our food took forever to come out. So long that we debated leaving to go elsewhere. When our food finally did arrive over an hour and 15 minutes later none of our 5 dishes were even warm, in fact some had a chill to them, definitely not freshly made. Tortillas on the tacos were hard like they were overcooked and meals had very little meat. Cold beans, cold rice, lukewarm meals and subpar service will make us not return to this restaurant.

We stopped in here on a whim. I had a burrito craving. My wife graciously agreed. This place was awesome. Food was great. I didn't expect this little gem. I would definitely go back here for my burrito fix.

Very expensive Mexican Restaurant. It is kind of fancy. The food is really good, but not better then my xooking or just Taco Bell. I love the nacho cheese fries.

We really wanted to love this restaurant but couldn’t. The fried dishes were soaking in grease and the steak with fried eggs had very little steak. The rice was my biggest disappointment. Wife liked the refried beans. We were also quoted 30 mins but took about 60 to pick up our food. They forgot our chips too! We were bummed when we had to open up bagged chips to eat our queso. Also, one of my pet peeves is using styrofoam for to go boxes. When you put fried food out of the frier into the box, what do you think is going to happen chef? Yep, melty styrofoam food. Our favorite restaurant in Atlanta used aluminum foil kinda looking to go plates for all their food. Costly yes, but safe health wise. All in all, we had very high hopes but was left disappointed. Looks like a lot of people love them, but it wasn’t for us.

Mango margarita and pinacolada were awesome! And the shrimp tacos were so delicious.. I would say it is a “must try” place.. good to have fun with friends.. the owner was so humble and friendly.

The owner is friendly and hard-working. The food includes delicious traditional Mexican dishes! I love the black bean soup and Alambres. The kids are big fans of the chicken flautas. Great for dine-in or take-out.
