Arabic and Pakistani cuisine. Went there for the very first time. My initial impression was positive, great ambiance setting and decorative setup with Arabic touch. There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Parking is not an issue.Their menu is not very extensive and split into Arabic and Pakistani parts. We ordered Lamb Chops, Nehari, Chicken Karahi, Naan and Mango Lassi. Overall food was decent, portion size was good. I would highly recommend their Nehari, one of the better ones I had in a very long time, beef was cooked perfectly, taste and smell was amazing. Chicken Karahi was ok, rather than using a whole chicken pieces they used smaller sized chicken wings, although it tasted ok but I was not impressed. Lamb chops were decent, meat was cooked perfectly but the seasoning was very light, even per Arabic standards. Mango Lassi was a perfection. Finally, Naan bread was ok but it was made in Arabic style bread and tasted bit different than a traditional naan, but it was not bad. Towards the end we were offered complimentary Arabic tea by their host Mr. Cheema. What a wonderful experience with him and such a courteous gentleman. Overall I would recommend them. If you are looking for a nice sit down place with good ambiance setting and decent food you should check them out.

We were group of 5 that walked on a Friday at 8pm. It was busy but was able to get a table right away. Server was on top and was able to order within 10 minutes of sitting down. We order albadia mixed grill, chops and mixed sherwana plate. Albadi mixed grill meats were moist and amazing. Size of chips were small but good taste and cooked perfectly. Their hot bread with baba ganoush was really good too. Very happy overall with ambiance, service and food. Will definitely be back !

I really want to like the place and give it more stars, but during my initial visit, it wasn't that great. Not sure what it was, but there really wasn't anyone to greet us as we walk in. After finally getting someone to get us a table, not one soul came over to even see how we were doing. After 23 minutes of not having anyone come over, my wife and I were getting up to leave when a waiter finally come over. That was the 1st and last time we actually interacted with our waiter, we were served by someone because I needed some condiments. He made sure to ask how the food was every time he was near the table. We ordered the mixed grill, the sampler appetizer and a pot of hot tea. The kabobs were moist, the shawarma was really dry, like it was reheated too long, the appetizer was delicious. After awhile, the cleaning lady came and just started to clear plates, even though there was still a little bit left, we were kind of picking at it and have a conversation. Inside was open, with a nice fountain in the middle and some cool flaming gas thing along some of the booths. I really want to like this place, I really do, but I will take the drive to Al-Bawadi in Niles or Jarasa in Skokie for the food, hospitality and atmosphere.

The best Middle Eastern restaurant in Illinois! You have to try the mint lemonade, it's outstanding! The samosas were fantastic! The hummus and baba ghanouj authentically made! The kabobs are tender and taste phenomenal! You can't leave without tasting the kunafa, it's seriously so yummy! The food quality is amazing and their service is nothing short of exceptional! I brag about AlBadia & Tandoori all the time and can't wait to come back again!

We came for Mother's Day and it was slammed! Lots of birthday celebrations going on as well. Even with the business, the staff maintained a positive, joyful attitude for the occasion. Everything inside looks beautiful after the remodel. I haven't been since, but there are fountain additions, new lighting and wall fixtures. Just overall very appealing. As always, food was amazing. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. I absolutely love the flavors. Great experience. Will be back.

We went for a buffet, last month and food was awesome but too pricey like $46 per person with tax and tip and tea without creamer. If you ask to to put creamer they denied and asked to pay $3.99 for it. If buffet says all you can eat but why they hesitate to bring coke if you ask for it Felt like as if they’re saving money on buffet by offering less services and food . Also super crowdy! The dishes get empty quickly and then you have to wait in a long que that doesn’t make any sense!!

1. They forced the buffet & said there is no menu to order from2. Its $40 per person3. The buffet is full of high profit, low quality tasteless food4. They said all you can eat & drink for $40 per person but then limit you on how much you drink & how much dessert you get & then say they will charge extra if you go beyond the 1 limit per person.5. They said the kabobs were beef which was a lie. They were lamb & lamb has that stinky lamb smell. When I told them he was like - yeah they're lamb.6. We had left over samosas that were brought to the table - like dinner bread rolls. Since I stopped eating because the food was tasteless, I asked them if I can take the samosas home - the guy literally said, no, we will "inspect" the food items & anything untouched will get recycled for the next table.7. The baklava was unbelievably gross tasting. - how do you screw up baklava?8. They also charge a mandatory 12% tip for any size party. I asked why, it's a buffet, I did everything myself & the guy is like yeah - we charge 12% & you have to pay it.DON'T EAT HERE - Save your money, the place is a joke, the food sucked, & is ridiculously overpriced!

5 stars because of Cheema Saab service and the way he was a one man army taking care of multiple tables at one. Even though I'd give the food a 3.3 out of 5. Only because the wait time was long and the food wasn't seasoned properly. Cheema Saab was the star of the show, making sure we were taken care of.
