Absolutely horrible. Old, and I mean OLD beef used in all dishes including fried rice. UNCOOKED EGGROLLS. Mongolian beef sauce had Absolutely 0 flavor except for way too much chili oil. The menu has changed for the worse. Sure it's ready in 15 minutes, but you pay 50 bucks for food that is not even safe to eat! Riddle me this.... how is " fresh cut beef" turn out to have the flavor and texture of badly made jerky? This beef was so old and nasty , I could not eat a second bite - I tried, and actually spit it out at the dinner table! Shrimp lo mein.... awful. Only seasoning was soy sauce, waaaaay too much soy sauce on noodles so overcooked the didn't even stay together when trying to eat them. Plus there were 3 shrimp in the entire LARGE ORDER. vegetables- old. Beef- ancient. Flavor- non existent. QUALITY- 0. I've eaten from here in the past and had nothing bad to say. Now the prices are jacked up and quality has dropped to next to nothing. EAT THIS FOOD AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The food was awful! The Orange chicken was dry and hard lacking flavour. The Crab Rangoon was very dry, and my toddler threw it at the wall, yelling and crying. The shrimp fried rice was Bland it lacked flavour, and some of the rice ? was still white. The Singapore noodles were cut up into little bitty teeny pieces, and it tasted disgusting. I spoke with the owner for over 40 minutes. He pled his case, stating that he was supervising the kitchen and everything was fine. I argued that just because everything seemed okay doesn't justify anything because apparently you're not the one that has to eat it, and apparently, you're not taste testing the food.I politely ask for a refund. The owner respectfully complied. I even advised him to go look at his google reviews. People aren't lying on you because something has changed with your food. Whether you hire more help replace the chef ?‍? ect. Somthing has to change fast. Otherwise, you won't have a business at all.

For over 20 years, this was our go-to Chinese place. The last few months it has been terrible. Tonight, we threw most of our food away. Orange chicken and sesame chicken were dry and tough. None of the food is anywhere near as good as it used to be.

I used to go there all the time, and it was good, I think it's changed ownership, the last time I ordered there it was terrible, and they were different people behind the counter.

Food was not great. Orange chicken was dry and lacking flavor. The egg rolls was very dry and lacking flavor. The fried rice was okay. We’ve eaten here before and it was a lot better. Not sure what changed, but it went down hill.

I checked out this place cause it was open on a Monday (typically Chinese restaurants are closed on Monday as that's their day off) in my area. I try to support local businesses when I can. I had a taste for shrimp fried rice so I checked on Yelp and here we go... It's located off north Ave. in a strip mall so there are of parking spaces. It's a to go establishment no tables to sit down and eat but there are a couple of chairs to wait for your food to go only. The portions are plenty for a lunch meal. I ordered the following: Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice - it was ok had a warm amount of heat/spiciness with sliced of white meat chicken and chunks of bell peppers and carrots baby corn celery garlic, roasted peanuts. The fried rice is a bit over cooked a bit sticky type of texture and flavor alone is ok not Chinatown fried rice which is more flavorful that you can eat it alone. It's ok General Tao's Chicken with fried rice- fried breaded chicken pieces with a sweet chili thick sauce. There was bs y corn, slices of carrot and broccoli and garlic. It ok Small order of wonton soup- 2 wonton pieces with green onion in a yellow broth , the meat in the wonton had a very vinegar flavor and texture was a bit mushy I'm not a fan of the wonton flavor. It's ok Large order of shrimp friend rice...good amount of baby shrimp, green onions and bean sprouts. Texture was a bit over cooked, sticky. It's ok Egg roll its cabbage it's ok. Overall it's an ok chinese to go place when you are nearby and have cravings... One suggestion If they compare with other chinese restaurants nearby of their flavors for improvement of theirs, I'd come back and try again down the road.

Shrimp fried rice was bland.egg foo young was okay . Combination appetizer was the best thing I had in my order. Not worth the price in this economy. If I could get my money back I would .

Food had no flavor (extremely bland). Only flavor I could make out was lots and lots of salt. They couldn't find my order either so it took a little investigation to pick up/pay. This place was descent a year ago. Not sure what happened.

We have always LOVED this place... We ordered today and it was TERRIBLE!!! Sweet and Sour chicken was very off. The sauce was a dark orange almost brown color with no veggies in it. Chicken fried rice was a disaster. It was sticky, tasted mushy, hardly had any chicken and had no taste. I grew up with Elmhurst chop suey so when I found this gem I was so excited. The change of ownership sucks!!! We will definitely be finding a new place. I will never eat here again! Sad for Lombard/Villa Park.
